2016 Spring Registration Open

Please click on www.upyba.org/register to begin.  We encourage  everyone to register online and register early!  There will be a $25 late charge for anyone who registers after March 5.

Online registration will be open until 3/5/2016.  We will also be hosting 4 in-person registration dates at the East  Greenville Fire House.  Those dates and times are:

  • Saturday, February 13 from 11AM - 1PM
  • Tuesday, February 16 from 6PM – 8PM
  • Wednesday, February 24 from 6PM – 8PM

Registration Note…There has been a change in the date used to determine a player’s “League Age”.  In late fall 2015  Little League Baseball approved August 31st as the date used to determine League Age starting with the 2018 season.  To  stay age aligned with other youth baseball organizations who are adopting Little League Baseball’s new amendment, the  UPYBA Board of Directors has voted to adopt this as well.   We are implementing this change with the Spring 2016  season.  Here are two examples of how the age change impacts a player with a birthday between May 1 & August 31.

·         If your child turns 10 between May 1 - August 31, 2016 they will only have 1 year of Minors eligibility.

·         If your child turns 9 between May 1 – August 31, 2016 their League Age will now have them playing Minors versus Pony A.

***If your child is 8 years old or younger and affected by this date change you can request they be placed in the lower  division.  Please note that should your child want to play in the Travel Baseball program or beyond UPYBA they will be  subject to placement based on their League Age as of the August 31st date.  Any requests to remain at a lower division  must be made at one of the in person registration dates or via email to secretary@upyba.org

Additional information on this change and a 2016 league age chart can be found at:

If you have questions please contact Paul Verna at president@upyba.org or Joe Mazzie at secretary@upyba.org.

UPYBA offers programs for the following ages:

      Pony A (league age 8)

      Minors (league age 9-10)
