Mens Water Polo at UCF

Hey & Welcome to the Mens Water Polo Website

We are an official SGA sponsored Sport Club at the University of Central Florida. We are currently not having practices until the spring semester in January. At this time there is a great club program downtown, where some of us are having practice with the Downtown Orlando Mens Team Tuesdays & Thuresdays 6:30-8:30pm at Lake Highland Preparary Academy.

Currently there is no information on Spring Practices. I am have scheduled meetings with the Sport Club directors & coordinators for the gym to check on pool times, and also the anticipated start date for renovation. We need to really push our sponsorships so please if you have any family companies or any opportunities ask them if they want to sponsor our team. I will have sponsorship contracts made if you have an opportunity that comes up. My goal is to raise $3000 by the beginning of the Fall 2008 semester, currently the school gives us $2400 (for next year). The money will go to tournament/association fees, hotels/travel, team banner, t-shirts, and team suits. Also i hope to be able to purchase new goals depending on the new pool design that will be built with the gym add-on renovation. We need more balls and should get new caps. So thats a lot of stuff, and if we want to accomplish this we really need outside support.
