5/10 U9 GOLD "WARRIORS" UPDATE !!!
Great job today at tournament! The “Warrior” mentality continues undaunted! Both teams we outhustled and outplayed were combined teams, one even tried to use a goalie as an extra defender J. The performance that continues to be displayed by the boys is a direct result of the effort put into practice both during and outside of practice – and we are proud of them. Tomorrow will be the toughest test of the season against the Lassiter Trojans. Some of you may think we are crying wolf again, but the Trojans have continually had a program comparable to ours over the years and they will be ready to give our boys a serious test for 4 quarters.Please get the boys pumped up for this game at 1 pm tomorrow! We will need to play team lacrosse at a high level at all positions to get the win tomorrow! Please be at the field by 12:30 pm for warm-ups.P.S. – At the Peachtree City game tomorrow at 4 pm, we will celebrate our great season and all kids will get a chance to get additional playing time at Attack/Midfielder.
P.S. 2 - This week we will have information on Game Schedule and Logistics for the South Forsyth U9 Tournament in Cumming next weekend 5/16 and 5/17.
P.S. 3 - This coming week I will be sending out information on the Team Party, and Glee Ramlogan will be in touch with everyone on organizing a nice event for the boys and the families. Coach Dan will be finalizing the trophy and t-shirts and will let everyone know the final cost. Basically, there will be a fee that everyone will need to pay for the t-shirt. For the Trophies, if you are going to the S. Forsyth Tournament and have paid your entry fee of $33, then you have already paid your trophy fee ($20 for the tournament, $13 for the trophy). If you have not paid your trophy fee, then Coach Dan will need to collect that prior to or at the Team Party.
