** Coach Matthew Grosso, head coach at Guilford College, runs our fall ball girls’ programs.  He will be helped by his players, some of the local high school coaches, and the spring TYLA coaches.   Coach Grosso’s philosophy and 8 week plan for fall ball teaches the game of lacrosse from “small to big”.  The practice plan is below.  This plan is not only to introduce the new player to the game in a systematic way, but will elevate the level of play and understanding of the game to the experienced player.  In the beginning, players will be divided by skill level. There will be heavy focus and game situation and scrimmaging.  At the high school level, he is planning on dividing the girls into teams based on schools, so the girls will be playing with their high school team mates.
