Coaches,

We encourage all of our new TYLA Coaches (or any who have not taken this course before) to take the US Lacrosse On-Line Level One Coaches Certification Process. TYLA will pay all fees. Once you register for the course, you have 60 days to complete the course. The course takes 2-3 hours to complete.

Registration for On-Line Course:

All TYLA Coaches must be US Lacrosse members. TYLA pays for your membership.

Please renew your membership before taking the online course, as discounts for the course are given to current members.  Once you have renewed or established your membership, you can register for the course as follows:

Follow prompts to register for the course.

Once registered, you have 60 days to complete the course. Over those 60 days, you have unlimited access to the course resources, including after you have completed the course.

You must complete the course by taking a test. There is no requirement that you pass the test. Our intent is that each coach learns from the course, and coaches of all levels can and should learn from it. The content is very good. We encourage you to use your 60 day period to not just complete the course but revisit the material several times.

Once you have taken the test, please print the receipt and return  to TYLA Executive Director Wendy Hook for reimbursement. You can hand deliver it to Wendy, fax it to 336-286-0837 or mail it to:

TYLA Coaches Needed

The Spring Lacrosse 2010 season is right around the corner and we are always in need of additional coaches.  No experience needed as we will provide you the expertise you need to be a successful TYLA Lacrosse Assistant Coach through our upcoming Coaching Clinics and Positive Coaching Alliance workshops.

We try to ensure that all our teams have at least 2 but preferably 3 assistant coaches and the only requirement is a desire to be out there with your kids!
