THE TRIADBASSMASTERS
The Triadbassmasters was originally Chartered in July of 2007. Since its inception, the Triadbassmasters has sought to develop fishing skills, organize serious minded bass fishermen, and promote conservation. The Triadbassmasters has survived where other bass clubs have failed because the club is more than just a tournament club. The structure of the organization is geared not only to serious bass fishermen, but also incorporates a myriad of family social events. The family associations help to weld close personal friendships that preclude "at any cost" tournament mentalities.
Fund raisers are designed to defray cost, promote fishing education, and encourage young anglers. The club, which averages between a 8-20 Angler roster, also attributes its longevity to the camaraderie fostered by attendance and participation requirements. Genuine friendships are promoted through the clubs extra curricular activities making the tournament trail a serious, but friendly competition. The tournament trail begins in late Jan and culminates with the Championship Tournament on High Rock Lake in Nov. Trophies are awarded each tournament for the winner and Big Bass .
Creative tournament committees arrange for a variety of interesting/challenging draw formats that promote fairness and give everyone a shot at placing. If you are a serious minded fisherman who is tired of unproductive fishing and wanting to improve your skill, tackle, and knowledge You will learn from the best tournament anglers in the Traid. We currently compete on the Toyota Tundra Bassmasters Weekend Series, the WBT, and the FLW BFL's as well as the Bassmaster Southern Opens. So you will learn techniques right off the tournament trail.

CLUB NEWS
The Triadbassmasters club tournaments came down to a dramatic finish on Oct 25th, 2009. Kyle Joyce (winning weight was 2.75)won the tournament taking home the cool $200.00, while Linda Berry locked up the Angler of the year title. Linda Berry stayed with in stiking distance of Chris Foreman all year, her experience and determination really showed during tough fishing conditions . Linda came with in 5 100ths of an ounce of winning the tournament with an awesome fish weighing in at( 2.70 lbs.) Chris Foreman put on an absolute steller performance through out the season and leading the club points all the way until the Championship. With double points on the line and a trophy waiting in the wings, all he needed to do was to catch at least one keeper, and the Angler of the year title was his. Chris gave it his all but in the end came up a little empty handed. This will be a big motivator for Chris in 2010. For 2 years in a row the Angler of the year title has came down to the final tournament of the season. This shows that our anglers are top notch competitors and constantly learning new ways to land 5 fish and get them to the boat. I am already anticipating what 2010 will be like. If I had to guess I would say it will be another very close season, and another epic battle will ensue when its all said and done. I would like to take this time to personally thank all of our club members for making this a fun but very competitive deal. Next year there may be a little more up for grabs. Who knows.
Our Annual Veterans Dinner will be held on DEC 13,2009.......We need to start trying to get donations. I am asking this year that we all try to get at least $50.00 in donations each. We will also need members to help serve the food this year. Last year it was alot of work and it would be nice to have the whole club present this year.
On Sunday Dec 6th we will be having our yearly club dues meeting! Club dues are $25.00 ,State dues are $12.00, and $20.00 for Federation Nation. You must renew your B.A.S.S. membership on your own and show proof .
