Welcome  to Tri-Valley Little League 2010 Season

First of all, I would like to introduce myself.  My name is Tom Teleha.  Some of you may know me as the safety officer, Treasurer,or coach of the junior Softball Angels and major baseball Reds.  I have 2 children involved in TVLL,Anna and Jacob.

I look forward to this year serving as your President and representing Yucca Valley throughout the District and Little League.

This year we want the program to continue to grow and develop, but in order for that to happen,we and your children need your assistance.  I know many people hesitate to volunteer because "I don't have enough time",or any number of well thought our excuses but realize you do.  The Little League program exists because of volunteers.  Not only does it give you something to do but it reinforces the attitude in your children to help out.  This will allow the program to continue growing each year.  I stepped forward to help this year because it is so important to give back to the community and your children.  Show them you care and that attitude will spill over into everyday life and they will be proud of you as you will be of them.

Once again,I look forward to serving as your president and representing you.  If you have cares, concerns,or just want to talk,I'm the loud, bald guy at the park or you can send me an e-mail -  tteleha@msn.com

     Something to think about..........

During a baseball game there are only 4 things you can be:1. Player 2.Coach 3.Umpire 4.Spectator.

You have to choose one and only one.

If you're a player you should not be a coach, umpire,or spectator.

If you are a coach, you can't become a player, you are not the umpire and your team does not need you to be a spectator.

If you are an umpire, you are not playing the game, you are not a coach and People will be upset if you become a spectator.

If you are a spectator you are not playing the game, you are not a coach and are not the umpire.

If  your child was on the stage for a spelling bee would you stand up from the audience and yell at them or criticize them for misspelling a word? Why would a mistake they make on the baseball field be any different?

    sbLet the kids Play!                     bb
