EAST TN VOLUNTEER CLASSIC NIT
Another rain cancellation. However, based on pool-play results, the TC Canes finished third in the tournament. Congrats again to Bryce for an over-the-fence Home Run!

South Jefferson Coach Pitch Warm-up tournament
Loudon Clash of Champions tournament was cancelled for the 8U division due lack of teams. However, the Canes played in the South Jefferson Coach Pitch Warm-up in Dandridge and placed second. Congratulations to Bryce for hitting one over the fence (175 feet).
Tuesday, April 15
1st league game of the season
Congratulations to a nice start in league play with a win over the Crush. We finally started the 1st inning with our bats. Fielding was strong with no errors in the first 2 innings. Great effort and hope to see the consistent play continue. Congratulations also to Jaren and Roach for their homeruns last night. We will see you Thursday for league game vs. the Patriots @ 6:00, be there 5:15. We will wear orange jersey and white pants.

9th Annual Diamond Sports Early Bird Tournament
The weather has not been good for baseball. However, good job Canes on winning the one game not cancelled by rain.

USSSA First Pitch Baseball Tournament Dalton Georgia
We had a great time in Dalton and played some great competition. Our defense was outstanding and allowed fewer runs than most teams there. Our bats will come around and we will work on batting every opportunity we get. Our team came in 5th out of 10 teams, not a bad showing for the first games of the season. We are proud of you and you guys showed a lot of potential for this year. We also want to thank the parents for bringing your boys to Dalton, I think they all really enjoyed it. The schedule has been updated for the next tournament and we will post times and field as soon as it comes available.
