Senior Lindsay Patton

#33 JR Lindsay Patton

Lindsay Patton made her return to the everyday line-up last year after recovering from ACL surgery.  Lindsay finished up the summer very strong and had an excellent AAU/YBOA season.  All of Lindsay's had work is getting her a lot of attention from colleges.  Lindsay is expected to have a solid year as a major contributor and leader for the Lady Indians.

Lindsay is working to get back!

Gabby Arencibia Sharp-Shooting Senior

#4 JR Gabby Arencibia

SR Guard Gabby Arencibia shot her way into the State Record books last season making 13 3-point baskets against Commerce.  Gabby did this in only 3 quarters!  Gabby shot well all season totally 108 made 3 pointers for the year.  Gabby is not just an outside shooter, she has become very comfortable taking the ball to the basket.  Many opponents this summer at camp had a hard time defending her versatility.  Gabby is getting several looks from colleges and spent her summer at individual camps that included Mercer and Western Kentucky.

#2 JR Ali Bleckley
SR Ali Bleckley's great summer turned heads

#2 SR Ali Bleckley had a great summer and turned many heads, probably the most important being her own.  Ali now realizes that she has the ability to play in college and is excited to take on the challenge.  She has been to some exposure camps and is drawing interest from several schools.

Cochran ready to lead the Lady Indians

#10 Eryn Cochran is poised to lead the 2011-12 Lady Indians as the point guard heading into the season.  Eryn finished summer camps playing great ball.  Her court vision, ball handling abilites, and scoring threat makes her a hard combination to stop.

Lady Indians Ready To Step In

After an excellent summer camp, several Lady Indians are ready to show that they got what it takes to make solid contributions.  JR Dadrain Blythe was very strong this summer and is getting better every day.  Sophomore Kellsie Cowart is coming along nicely and she should be ready to go from day number one.  There could be a freshman sighting too.  Stephanie Patton showed that age would not be a factor in her contributing this season.  There are others that have the ability to give tremendous help, such as Emily Anderson and Kindle Moss.  As always, there could be some surprises that step in and earn some time.

#24 SR Jordan Moss
Former Lady Indian playing at YHC

Jordan Moss had a great 2010-11 season and it resulted in her getting the opportunity to continue her career at Young Harris College.  Right now Jordan is going through early morning workouts and weight training.   Good luck to Jordan this upcoming season at YHC!
