Team #2 takes first divional game....
After a shaky start in their first divional game, the boys of Team #2 came back strong to knock down Kings 6B with a score of 28-12.  A quick 12 point lead by Kings couldn't stop the persistance of a strong Team #2.  With level heads, a few adjustments on defense and a quick footed offense, the Hawks would stop the Kings' offense cold and and sprint to the end zone for 4 TD's.  Team #2 focused on their goal and pulled together to get the win.

Hawks fly by the Wildcats 34-6
Team #2 took on the Anderson Wildcats on Sunday September 12th and with ease took their second win for the season.  The Hawks "D" came out fighting and threw the first punch with an interception by Marcos Aull that would result in a quick 6 points for the Hawks.  The defense would take over again and this time it was another interception by "TG' that would set the Hawks up with great field position and with help from the "O" line  "Doughnut" would roll into the endzone.  Three more TD's would be added to the scoreboard for Team #2 by Shiver, Glenn and Martin.  Anderson would get one touchdown, but was stopped  on their second drive by a fumble and recovery by the Hawks.  Way to go boys!!!!!

Tomahawks #2 stops Milford 12
Team #2 was up to the challenge on Sunday September 26th when they shut out Milford #12 to take their fourth straight division title.  It was a total team effort as the Hawks took the field, took control and never looked back.  Team #2 jumped to an 8-0 lead in the second quarter with a great offensive effort that allowed Preston Gamble to sprint into the endzone.  He then would add the first 2 of his three successful extra point kicks.  This gave the Hawks the motivation they needed to kick it into high gear.  Marcos Aull would take an interception all the way home for another Tomahawk TD.....then later in the game a hard hit by Brennen Martin would cause a Milford fumble that would set up Cody Shiver for the Hawks third touchdown.  The defense was superior as time and time again they shut down the Eagles advance.  Even a last minute charge by Milford was stopped as the "D", led by "BD" Davis and Sammy Williams stuffed the Milford 12 running backs on the goal line.  Everyone combined to bring home this fourth division win.
