Titans: My Site News
Hoops End Strong
After a convincing win Saturday morning we finished with a bittersweet ending to the BVRC as we did end up with one loss, but in head-to-head competition we beat our opponent by more than they beat us. The boys put themsleves in a position to be champions even with a loss.
We also wrapped up the Premiere league with another strong performance and another win.
The boys ended the season 22-8, learned a lot, had a lot of fun and really came together as a team even though we added 6 players this year.
The boys always played hard on defense and gave a great effort which will always serve them well.
Go Titans, Play Hard, Have Fun!

Boys Get Big Wins
The Titans were in action this weekend with 3 games. All the games were competitive and the boys responded each time. Great job boys!

Impressive Wins This Weekend
The boys put two excellent games together this weekend. Coach Trusdale and I are really proud of the defensive intensity that we had for both games. That intensity is getting us into our transition offense and we are executing better in our half-court sets. Really fun to see the boys play right now!

Basketball Comes Off Christmas Break
The boys were a little rusty Saturday and Sunday, but we were able to get a couple of hard fought wins. Our defense seems to be doing quite well with our offense still needing some work. Our transition offense is improving, but still not quite where it needs to be either. We added a couple wrinkles to our Zone offense and we are developing a second man offense.

Sometimes things are not going your way offensively and you have to make up for it with defensive intensity. Good start boys.

The Ball Wont Go In The Bucket
For the second straight week we have had trouble getting the ball bouncing around the rim, to fall through the basket. Last week we were able to over come that, but this week we were a little short-handed too and came up short in a late rally. The boys continue to play hard in practices and the games, we just have to get better at getting the ball to fall through the net.
