Tim,
Thank you so much for the journal. Eric and I have really enjoyed ready about your time in Athens. We both got up early to watch you guys in the racewalk. I am so thankful to MSNBC for providing us with the live coverage. I can't tell you what a great inspiration you have been to Eric and all the other young walkers that look up to you. Keep up the great work!!

Hey Tim,

Remember me from our freshman year at Parkside? Jon Jorgenson was in Indy over July 4th visiting and told about your race-walking success. Congratulations! It's great to see you representing the many that longed to live the Olympic dream. Good Luck to you in Athens.

Tim,

Congratulations on making another Olympic team! Your sister Jamie has kept me abreast of your progress on my occasional treks back to Long Island. Way to make North Babylon proud! I'll be watching (2AM you say? Oh boy...) on MSNBC on the 20th. Glad to hear Coach Manhardt is still working you hard. Good Luck!

Hi Tim,
congratulations on a good race today. We have told you for weeks now that you could do it and you finaly did!!! 1.22:02 was great. You have the OLYMPIC standard and enough time to prepare well for some more races and then finally for hot Athens!! Now you can look forward to walk at the German Championships in Hildesheim on the 6th of June. There is no more pressure, now you can just go out there and feel the pace!

Keep on walking!

Kjersti
