Welcome to the Tignish Silver Wings Skating Club's web site.

Our Club is a member of Skate Canada and was formed over 32 years ago.

We offer the CanSkate program which is Skate Canada's flagship program and is one of the most sought after skating programs in the world. CanSkate was developed by experts to teach the fundamentals of skating in a progressive and sequential manner. Designed for beginners of all ages, the focus is on fun, participation and basic skill development. Skaters are taught in a group lesson format by NCCP certified professional coaches (Kristy-Lynn Richard and Krista MacKay), assisted by local, trained Program Assistants.

We are proud to be the choice of local parents for instruction of skating skills for their children.  This  year, 79 children have enrolled in our program either full or part-time.

We are excited to hold our programs in the newly constructed Credit Union Arena, located on Philip Street in Tignish.
