TIGERS BRING HOME THEIR 1ST CHAMPIONSHIP!!
On August 2, 2008 the new 10U Tigers came to play. We started off on fire and nobody could stop us. We played 4 games and finished 3 of those games by way of mercy. For our first tourney, I say we are definitely on the right track! The boys played well together and really proved that they love the game. Congrats to Ryan, Cristian, Sonny, Albert, Jorge, George, Moises, JShaw, Alec, Vasquez, Tank and Daniel. Get ready boys cuz there is more to come!

Great Performance In Las Vegas
On September 19, 2008 the Tigers participated in their first BIG tournament, the Triple Crown Fall Nationals. Although we didn't make it to the "Ship", we performed beyond our expectations. The Tigers went 5-1 and definitely made a name for ourselves. All 12 players contributed and made a difference. Our pitchers did an excellent job on the hill. Daniel Silva pitched for the first time for the Tigers and made a huge impact. Cristian held the Smash to 1 run. George Andrade came in and did his job. Ryan pitched in and did a great job, except for 1 inning against his former team(Smash), although he did manage to get out of it. Sonny threw his junk and kept everyone off balance. JShaw had his inning on the hill and lil' Jorge Garcia, our youngest Tiger, threw 5 great innings against AZ Heat. We had Gio behind the plate doing his thing, Albert and Alec taking turns at 2nd base. Moises came up with RBIs at the plate and Vasquez jumped in when needed. Our BATS were awake and slamming. Gio came with a Grand Slam, dead center field. Overall we may have placed 5th, but our record 5-1 says it all.
