July Booster Meeting
Thanks to all the wonderful parents who attended the July booster meeting!!! Remember the fundraiser's that are happening right now. We have $100 walmart card we are holding a drawing for so get your tickets and start selling. 100% profit to your account. Look under handouts for the template and print your own. Also, please remember to write your childs name on the back of stub in case we need to get in touch with you.

TCB community service project for July
…..School supply collection for DFACS Let’s see which team can collect the most school supplies. Each team will have a collection box for you to place the supplies. On August 1, 2008 we will see who had the most and reward that team with an ice cream social.

TCB Camp Activity
TCB Camps are once again fixing to be in full swing. Each girl needs to bring a pair of BLACK flip flops to camp (labeled with there name) and $2 for the camp activity this year....you girls will "walk" away with a really cute item. Make sure to bring them with you to camp.

*****RAZOR BACK SHIRTS TO BE ORDERED******
If you ordered a razor back shirt during uniform sizing you need to pay for the shirt starting today until July 21 in order to get it. The order will be placed then and if you have not given your money to the treasurer, it will not be ordered. Razor Back shirts are $12 and if you ordered another team shirt the cost is $6. If you did not sign up to order one, you may do so by contacting an EC member.

*************************Required Booster Fees for the 2008-09 Year--- $100 due by the 15th of each month (fees in addition to monthly fees paid to Laura)
Payments may be dropped in the TCB mailbox located on the TCB wall at the gym. Envelopes are provided on table. Or you may place in the mail to P.O. Box 178, Thomson 30824. If you wish to write one check for both Program and Booster fees, you may do so. However, please note on the envelope or check exactly what you are paying.

Uniform & shoe sizing will be performed. All members are requested to be sized regardless of whether needing new apparel or not. These sizes are used throughout the year for other purposes. USED UNIFORMS*** If you have a uniform you wish to sell, please write your name & child’s name on the “TO SELL” form on the bulletin board. If you wish to purchase a used uniform, please write your name & child’s name on the “TO BUY” form on the bulletin board.

DUE TO RISING COSTS OF FOOD AND SUPPLIES FOR THE CONCESSION, WE REGRET THAT A PRICE INCREASE WILL BECOME EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY!!! PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGES SO YOUR CHILD WILL HAVE ENOUGH MONEY. ALSO, CURRENTLY THE CONCESSION IS NOT MAKING A PROFIT. SINCE THIS IS A FUNDRAISER TO ASSIST PARENTS AND SENIORS TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THEIR ACCOUNT, IF THERE CONTINUES TO BE A LOSS THE CONCESSION WILL HAVE TO BE CLOSED. TCB rocks at Nationals
TCB makes it's presence known at Cheersport Nationals in Atlanta on Feb. 16-17, 2008, to a full house of 800+ teams, and 180,000 participants and spectators.

Absentee Policy
Reminder:
We are beginning are competitive season with the new year, we have a competition every month till April. January through April is the competitive cheerleading season. To be successful we need all cheerleaders at practice. If you can not be there we will substitute from the other team to have a full practice. Thus we will be enforcing the attendance policy as follows:
· Must fill out an absentee form a week in advance if possible
· Must call director if can not be at practice
· Excused absents will run 5 laps at end of practice
· Unexcused absents will run 10 laps at end of practice.
We learned last year that these final practices are very important in that we really cleanup modify and prepare physically and mentally to perform the routines. This is not the fun time at practice as we do drill and drill to make sure we are perfect but
it pays off when you walk on the mat. These practices will be closed
to be sure we are focus and on task.
