1. Be positive and have a good attitude. 2. Support teammates. 3. Give your best everyday. Baseball is hard, getting better takes WORK. 4. When in doubt ask Questions. 5. You are a representative of our program. Make good decisions on and off the field. 6. Want to get better every day. 7. Communicate with coaches as far in advance as possible concerning any scheduling conflicts. 8. Memorial Field is your field. Field maintenance is everybody's responsibility. 9. Take responsibilty for your own actions. 10. Want to win. 11. Don't be afraid to fail. 12. Keep yourself in shape. Sixty plus games in three months take a toll on your body.

1. Be a fan of everyone on the team. 2. Respect the decisions of officials. Calls will be missed. 3. Respect other fans, coaches, and players. 4. If you have a concern, talk to your son. Please have your son come and talk to me. If we have not resolved the problem please contact me. (See #5) 5. Communicate with the coaches in appropriate settings. Set up an appointment with the coach. Game day is not an appropriate time. 6. Let coaches coach. Parents make judgements about their sons abilitities based on love. Coaches evaluate players based on talent. A coach's first responsibilty is to the team. 7. Be supportive of your son.

1. Set a good example for players and fans to follow. 2. Be positive, fair and consistent with players. 3. Make playing time and strategy decisions with thought and care. 4. Be a good communicator with players and parents. 5. Protect the safety of all athletes. 6. Know and employ injury prevention procedures. 7. Make sure players know expectations. 8. Be open to suggestions from other coaches and players. 9. Develop a strategy and make sure players understand that strategy. 10. Work to be a better coach. 11. Make sure our team is properly equipped. 12. Help players get to the next level. 13. Be available to talk with players and parents. 14. Promote leadership skills in every player. 15. Promote baseball and the program.

Enthusiastic fan support is a part of baseball and active cheering is encouraged. The Glacier Twins American Legion Baseball program is dedicated to providing a safe environment for both players and fans. You are requested to be considerate at all times of the feelings of the players and sensitivities of those fans seated around you. Hopefully, this request is all that is necessary. *The use of aerosol air-horns or whistles will not be permitted during a tournament baseball game. Persons using an air-horn or whistle will be asked to leave the ball park. *Persons entering onto the playing field to protest or object to an umpire's official decision, or throwing or attempting to throw objects on the field will be subject to immediate ejection from the premises. *Persons using obscene or abusive language or engaing in any other antisocial conduct offensive to those around them will be asked to cease this conduct. If the offensive conduct persists, those involved will be subject to ejection from the premises. Thank you for your support of the Twins!
