MARCUS CONTINUES WIN STREAK WITH BIG CONTRIBUTIONS BY RAPID FIRE GIRLS
Marcus improved their record to 7-0 with a 7-1 win over Southlake. KelVon, Devon, and Courtney F. were all key contributors in the win. Courtney was 2 for 3 with a triple, single, and sac bunt, one RBI, and a run scored. KelVon was 2 for 4 with 2 singles and one run scored, and Devon was 2 for 4, also with 2 singles and a run scored.

Dezy Arredondo, Royse City, hits 2 doubles and 4th homerun of the season
Dezy hit two doubles and a homerun in a 7-0 win vs. Greenville. Alicia P. finished with 17 strikeouts and her 10th shutout of the season.

Congratulations to Jordan & Alicia for being mentioned in today's Dallas Morning News. Both had great weeks last week. Jordan went 7-11, with a homerun and 8 RBI's, and Alicia had 27 strikeouts. Way to go!

Devon Wallace went 2 for 3, with a double and a perfectly placed bunt, KelVon went 2-4, doing what she does best - blazing down the first base line, and Courtney had 1 RBI, batting in the first run of the game, in a 2-0 Marcus win over Southlake.

Courtney F. helped FM Marcus to a 10-1 win in their first district game against Lewisville. Courtney was 2-3 and had a walk. She had 3 RBI's and scored three times.

Royse City defeated Highland Park by the score of 11-1, their lone run came off several errors. Alicia finished the game with 17 strikeouts. She also added a double and a single. Kourtney K. had 3 RBI's.

Courtney F. helped Marcus to an 8-0 run-rule win over Sachse with 4 RBI's. Courtney got on base all three at bats, with a walk, a sac fielder's choice (reached on error), and a single up the middle that scored 2 runs.

Royse City defeated Rockall 2-0. Alicia shut down Rockwall, giving up just 2 dinks over second, finishing the game with 11 strikeouts in 5 innings of work. She topped the night off with her 2 homerun of the year, a 2-run blast over centerfield, helping her team to victory.

Royse City defeated JJ Pearce 7-0 in 5 innings. Alicia threw another no-hitter with 11 strikeouts in 5 innings of work. She also had a single up the middle with 2 RBI's and scored once.

KelVon keeps doing what she does best by getting on base 3 out of 3 times. Courtney goes 1 for 3 with a double and Devon was 2 for 3 with a single and reached on error, as Marcus goes on to defeat Rockwall 6-2.

In the Creekview game on Thursday, KelVon G. had 3 singles and swiped 3 bases. Courtney F. was 4 for 4 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. Devon finished the attack with 2 homeruns, a triple, and a double.

Flower Mound beats Western Hills 11 -0 in five inniings. Jordan was 2 for 4 with a homerun, double and 4 RBI's. This was her third homerun in less than a week and the fifth on the season.

FM MARCUS WINS FIRST 2 GAMES OF MCKINNEY TOURNAMENT!
Marcus posted 2 wins in their first 2 games of the McKinney tournament with a 5-3 win over Allen and a 2-1 win over North Lamar. Devon was able to get on base 5 out of 6 times, and had 3 RBI's. KelVon was 3 for 3 in the Allen game, with 2 stolen bases, and 1-3 against N. Lamar, one stolen base, and also scoring the first run of the game on a wild pitch. KelVon also had several key defensive plays in centerfield against N. Lamar to help Marcus with the win. Courtney was 2-4, had a stolen base, and continued to stay solid defensively at shortstop.

Alicia P. faces 30 batters in a 10 inning game - striking out 26 batters, plus a no-hitter
Royse City defeated North Lamar by the score of 2 to 0. In the game, Alicia faced 30 batters, striking out 26 of them, finishing with a no-hitter. She also helped her cause with the game winnig double in the top of the 10th inning to left field, driving in both runs. Dez finished 2 for 4 in the game with a double and a walk.

Flower Mound Marcus defeated Plano East 7 to 3. Devon was 3 for 4 with one RBI and scored once. KelVon was 3 for 4, scored twice and one stolen base.

Jordan staying hot with the bat
Jordan went two for three and one walk, four at bats. She one hopped the fence at 225 feet for a triple. It would have been out in 90% of the yards, it tied score in the seventh and she went in to score the winning run. Flower Mound high went on to win 10 to 9.

DEVON HITS 2 HOMERUNS IN ALLEN TOURNAMENT!
Devon's bat came alive this past weekend at the Allen tournament. Devon hit a 3-run homer to help Marcus to a 7-0 win over Frisco Centennial, and also a 1-run homer (into the wind) against Mesquite Horn. Devon almost had another one in a 4-0 win over Plano West, but the wind kept it in the park, resulting in a double.

Hannah Pattillo goes 2 for 4 with 4 RBI's and Jordan Jennings hits her second HR of the young season, in a 15-0 Flower Mound win over Allen.

2/3/09: FM Marcus 3, Plano East 3
Marcus was held to 4 hits in their game against Plano East, with KelVon, Courtney, and Devon each coming away with one hit each. Devon drove in 1 RBI and Courtney drove in 2 RBI's as Marcus tied Plano East 3-3. KelVon was 1 for 2, with 2 walks for the night and also had a great sliding catch in centerfield.
2/03/09 Royse City 3, Love Joy 2 - Alicia throws no-hitter (12k’s)
Alicia pitched 5 innings of no hit ball with 12 strikeouts, the 2 runs scored on a hit bats men and a second base throwing error. She also hit a walk-off, game winning Home-Run, her first ever high school home run. I know dad kept that ball. It looks like De-Marini went 2 for 3 in 6 at bats, with 3 walks and a single. Dezy went 1 for 1 in 3 at bats with 2 walks and a single.

Peyton Pitched 3 innings of no-hit ball with 6 strikeouts against Allen on Tuesday night action.
