Future Stars Basketball Exposure Event!!

"Texas Rimwrecker Flight School" slam dunk contest and 3-pt shooting contest will be August 29, 2008 beginning at 7:30pm. Doors open to the public at 7:00pm. Entry fee will be $20.00 per person. THE TEXAS PREMIER BASKETBALL GROUP AKA TXP, WAS FORMED TO BRING QUALITY YOUTH  BASKETBALL  EVENTS SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED TO BRING THE STUDENT - ATHLETE EXPOSURE THROUGH COMPETITION AND SPORTSMANSHIP. IT IS THE INTENT OF TXP TO RAISE THE OVERALL BASKETBALL PRESENCE IN THE STATE OF TEXAS. IT IS ALSO THE INTENT OF TXP TO ASSIST STUDENTS -ATHLETES  BY CREATING A MEETING PLACE WHERE PLAYERS ARE LOOKING FOR COACHES AND COACHES ARE LOOKING FOR PLAYERS. ALL PARTICIPANTS IN ANY "TXP " WILL BE RATED, EVALUATED BY TXP STAFF, TOP PLAYERS AND PROGRAMS WILL ALSO BE FEATURED ON TXP INDEPENDENT WEBSITE . ANY PARTICIPATION IN A TXP EVENT SHOULD BE VIEWED AS AN INVESTMENT IN YOUR STUDENT- ATHLETES FUTURE , NOT AS A COST. Every basketball related event organized by Texas Premier Basketball is geared towards the exposure of the high school student - athlete to any and all college institutions in the state of Texas and throughout the country. When athletes compete in our events they are videtaped and rated by TPB's independent website, this information is made available to college coaches, scouts and recruiters of all divisions and affiliations, Texas Premier will also be linked to different sites throught the U.S. to bring you the hoop scoop from around the country. Parent's should realize that instead of looking at our entry fee as a cost, you should view it as investment in your student-athlete's future. We will feature the top players and programs who attend our events. Some players will be invited to try out for the Texas Players select team. These events will raise the level of basketball awareness in the Cen-Tex region and the overall level of competition among the players to be rated higher than the other. TPB will also hold exposure events for all high school classifications boys and girls this fall. Good luck see you in the gym and remember, Go Hard or Go Home.

New Directon For University HS (Tx) Basketball

Congrats to Tarl Lloyd, Coach Lloyd takes over the Trojans Boys Basketball Program at University High School in Waco, Tx. Trojans have plenty of talent returning to make noise in their region, but do they have the heart and will to dominate their foes in 2008-2009?  Can the  Jr class trio of Kevin Thomas *, Randy Price *and Jarraod Hall* go hard enough to make a run at the state title ? Coach Lloyd is the guy that can get a rafter hung in the Trojans gym.
