Knights travel to Pflugerville to play in 12U event - May 19-20
The Knights went on a road trip to play up in a 12U event in the Round Rock area...and also got to see the Express play while there. Trip was fun for the boys and the parents! Knights finished a solid 2 and 2, taking 3rd place in the event. Click the heading to see the results.

Knights play up in a Nations 12U event - Feb 24-26
The Knights went 2-0 Friday night in pool, winning 11-1 and 10-2. Good P work from the combined P of Parker, Armani, Tyler and Andrew led the way. The highlight of the night was Dre going YARD over the CF fence in the first pool game to give the Knights an early lead and they never looked back. The Knights got the #2 seed and a bye to the quarters. There, the Knights ran into a hot P and Humble Oilers team. So the Knights ended up 2 and 1 on the weekend losing to a very good team Sunday. Knights start out Spring 2012 in a Nations 11U Premier event at BBUSA - Feb 10-12
The Knights had a solid 2-1-1 3rd place showing in the 11U Premier event at Baseball USA. The Knights came back from behind in every one of their games, going 1-0-1 in pool, winning their quarter-finals bracket game, and then losing to a late innings rally in the semis. A few firsts for the season included: Sam going YARD with a big 3 run shot in a comeback win in the Knights first pool game; our first extra innings game win with Dre and Tyler combining for seven innings of P; and Parker with a bottom of the seventh extra-innings walk-off single to win a great 4-3 first bracket game on Sunday. The Knights did a lot of things well on the weekend and also identified many things to keep working on. Overall, a very good first event. More to come, so check back.
