Terror return to Tennessee to face some outstanding competition. Going thru pool play undefeated and securing a #1 seed. Sunday in the scorching heat of the south the Terror worked their way thru single elimination to the championship game. There they faced an outstanding team in the Frost Falcons. Losing in the Championship breaking an impressive winning streak. As the summer has heated up so has the Terror's game. Awesome job ladies.

Terror win again. This time sweeping their pool play and running the winners bracket and championship game. Wow as the summer heats up so do the Terror with Great Defense, Awesome pitching and Hitting that has it all, short game, long ball and wonderful base running. Bri was able to finally join us from HS and now the Terror team is complete and what a great job by everyone. The Championship was close for the first six innings as the Terror were keeping to a 3 - 1 lead and then the flood gates opened up as a solid Blaze team ran out of gas and the Terror secured their second straight championship 7 - 1.
Off to Tennessee and an eventful June.
We missed Jay this weekend but Matt did a great job keeping the book.

The Terror have a repeat performance in 2008 as they did in 2007. Sweeping their pool and working their way thru the winners bracket. Then facing a tough opponent in the finals losing a hard fought game to force the 'what if' game. That game could be any closer with the score tied in the 7th inning, basesloaded and 2 outs with the game winning hit delivered by Emily Snow to send across two runners to secure the Championship.
The weekend was full of great plays with our defense and pitching only allowing 3 earned runs and 8 total runs in 7 games. Offensively averaging close to 8 runs a game. We welcomed a new player with Erynn Petrouzy who stood out with her glove in left field and with a solid bat contribiting several hits including a couple of doubles. It was truly a team effort with plays and hits coming from every single player. And the great thing is we'll have Bri back for the next tournament. Great Job Ladies.

Terror ventured south to Tennessee for their first tournament and brought home some hardware. Going 7 - 1 on the weekend they played some great competition from AL, TN, KY and IL. Losing in the last inning to a great Illinois Southern Express team that could just flat out play.
Outstanding play by EVERYONE. Too many plays to highlight as the Terror showed that their hard work in practice does translate to awesome plays in the game.
