Terrapin Water Polo Camp


Session: June 26 - 29

Cost: $560

Girls Grades 8-12






Campers will train under the direction of the Terrapin Water Polo Coaches Carl Salyer and Meghan Sullivan, current collegiate and high school coaches, as well as top, current collegiate water polo players. Campers will be provided individual instruction, evaluation, competition, and specialized techniques necessary to refine the athlete's water polo skills.


All female athletes in eighth to twelfth grades are welcome regardless of experience or ability. The only requirement is a desire to improve!

The University of Maryland pool facilities are among the finest in the country. The University of Maryland Campus Recreation pool is a 50 meter x 25 yard, all deep pool and two wet/dry classrooms with video.

Important Dates to Remember


  • Check-in:

    Friday, June 26th 8 AM - 10 AM

    First session starts at 11 AM

  • Check-out:

    Monday, June 29th 3 PM

  • Arrange for flights to depart 6pm or later after check-out


Transportation


  • Please schedule flights to arrive at BWI and trains to arrive at the Amtrack Train Station at BWI.

  • Arrange for flights to depart 6pm or later after check-out

  • Transportation from and to BWI Airport or the Amtrack Train Station at BWI will be provided upon request, for a $25.00 charge. We are UNABLE to provide transportation to or from Regan National or Dulles Airports.



Please Note:


Campers traveling long distances may arrive in the evening of Thursday, June 25th at an additional room fee of $50 for the night. (Please note transportation schedule from above) Meals are not included. The first camp meal will be lunch on Friday, June 26th. Campers can purchase meals a la carte at the campus dining hall. If you are not going to schedule/pay for transportation at this time please contact Meghan Sullivan @ 301-314-8888 to make arrangements in the future time.
