The Prospect Park Termites were founded in 1948 by Frank Witmer.
We have been a member of the Bert Bell Memorial Football Conference of South Eastern Pennsylvania since 1968. Bert Bell celebrated it's 45th Year in 2007.
We have 5 age/weight divisions divided into both Varsity and Junior Varsity teams.
Flag Division
Ages 5-6 (no weight)
80lb. Peewee Division
Ages 7 & 8 weighing under 80lbs.
Age 9 weighing under 60lbs.
100lb. Midget Division
Ages 9 & 10 weighing under 100lbs.
Age 11 weighing under 80lbs.
120lb. Junior Division
Ages 11 & 12 weighing under 120lbs.
Age 13 weighing under 105lbs.
150lb. Senior Division
Ages 13 & 14 weighing under 150lbs.
Age 15 weighing under 125lbs.
We have JV Football and Cheerleading squads for each weight class and Competition Cheer Squads.
The Prospect Park Termites will be celebrating our 60th Anniversary this season with a parade on Saturday morning, September 13th. The parade will start at the Interboro School District Administration building, pass by Mr. & Mrs. Witmer's home on Pennsylvania Ave and end at Witmer field. There will be lots of food, games and memorabilia. All are welcome to attend.
In recognition of our 60th Anniversary, the Prospect Park Termites will be wearing "throwback" uniforms for both home and away games this season. Jersey's will be Royal Blue with Gold shoulders and Gold sewn-on numbers with a 60th Year patch. Each player will have his/her name sewn on the back. The cost of the jersey is $45. Please contact our General Manager, Linda Dempsey, at 610-532-4853 for ordering information. Parents and alumni can also purchase these jerseys at the same cost.

Monthly Termites Meeting
Our monthly club meetings are held the FIRST Sunday of every month at the Termites clubhouse, Witmer Field. Meetings are open to all officers, board members, coaches, volunteers and parents. Any parent, player or member that has a concern regarding the organization or a team, is urged to attend these meetings. Please come out and show your support for the Termites.
