TeamWales: Locations

Down by 'ere
Common phrase (in Wales) to indicate - 'at home' or 'where we are'. Sometimes replaced by "Up by 'ere" - depending if you live down in the valleys or up in the hills.

Note: Welsh people are prone to dropping their 'aitches' - unlike 'dropping britches', this is acceptable in public.

Dressel's Pub
At 419 North Euclid - in the CWE of St. Louis; just off Kingshighway north of Lindell. Some Society events are held at this location. Check 'Links'.

Dunno yet, mun!
Still trying to find a good location for this event. How about opening up your joint?

Llywelyn's Pub(s)
Named after the last TRUE Prince of Wales, these places contain 'Welsh stuff' hanging on the walls - and if you drink enough of their Welsh Ales, you could be hanging your head in the morning - check out 'Links'.

Rugby Fields
Mostly in Forest Park - but you'd best do some 'Googling' of the various St. Louis Rugby websites in case you miss out on the 'Game-de-Jour'!

Some games to be played at Creve Coeur Park

The Ladue Mansion!
This is where our 'Carmarthen-born' member lives!

Ed's house
This is where the Prez lives - 'over by there' - on the other side of the Mississippi River.

Over by there!
Unlike "Down (or Up) by 'ere!" this means, of course, 'at some other location than where we are' - but not necessarily far away. Still used - even by GPS users!
