What is Team Mizuno?

What is travel baseball? What is Team Mizuno? These are questions that every program has to answer for themselves. For Team Mizuno, it is building the best program with the best possible players. It is finding the right players that believe in our system. Team Mizuno is not for everyone. It is a high impact program full of self driven ball players that wish to be the best in the country. We do not practice, you will work on your own or you will get left behind. We have a dress code on the field, we have a code of conduct that means NO CRYING and NO throwing equipment. As a player we will learn to play the game the right way. We will respect all teams and fear none. We have goals outside of Florida. We want to be 12 and under National Champs. We want to play the best teams in the Country. If we lose then we will come back until we win. Competition is something that our players will not be afraid of. No excuses. Just keep working until we are the best. This is not your city or rec league, this is travel baseball. Do you think the New York Yankees care what the other teams think? Our philosophy is to be the best. It is what it is. This is a select travel team. Not all players can handle the pressure that comes with Team Mizuno. Most teams struggle because they don't learn to lose. They struggle because they can't handle failure. I hate to break it to the travel baseball world, but Baseball is a game built on failure. Baseball has an ethics code that is not in a book. It is understood by the one's who played baseball at a high level. It is something that you know or you don't. You as a baseball player or coach will be judged on how you lose not how you win.

Mission statement

Our mission is to provide a youth program that imulates a major college baseball team in organization, sponsorship, professionalism, while yeilding Championships on the national stage with the grass roots of tomarrow, our players.

To offer the best possible experience to our players by providing high quaility equipment from our sponsors Mizuno and Easton, which will create a distinctive performance advantage.

To creat an efficient structure that enhances the next level of performance, while promoting continuous improvement, competition amoungst teammates, while maintaing the team comes first attitude.

To understand how to respect the game, sacrafice self for the team, work harder than everyone else, have self discipline to be the best, to want to play and live as a winner.
"Winner" means something different to each individual person, know that your definintion will become the most important meaning of all. What kind of winner do you want to be?

To operate in a spirit of teamwork that encourages and recognizes outstanding levels of play, a sense of pride in every member, and the importance of contributing to sharing in the organization's success.
