Just our second tournament, and what a way to fight! Our team is definitely in it to win it. A great tournament by every player. Everybody worked hard. The hustle and intensity was awesome on elimination day! Every part of the team was much improved from the first tournament. Great Job Intensity! 2 Wins! 28 Runs Scored. Look out next tournament, we're coming!!
Wow, for our first tournament, we put on a strong showing. Even though we didn't get the wins, we battled hard in every game. The girls beat ALL of the coaches expectations, with good pitching and catching, strong hitting (18 Hits, 15 Runs), and some pretty solid defense for our first tournament. We had some "Monster" pitching, the catch of the tournament in CF by K.0., and a Barbie Home Run. Every player made the tournament fun with their Desire, Effort, and Determination. Great Job Intensity. You Rock!

BREAKING NEWS...........TI FINISHES 2ND
In later news... The earth is still round and the sun is still hot. TI traveled to Prescott playing the last tune-up tourney looking to get work in. TI went 2 and 1 in pool play with the highlight win against the Vegas Lights. After finishing 2nd in our bracket , our quarter finals were against the Prescott Lady Hawks in which we won 10-0. Our girls played a complete game from start to finish. Next up was a sizable Verde Valley Blaze coming into the game with a 4-0 record and averaging 10 point wins against their opposition. Verde Valley ran into the"TI Buzzsaw" falling to TI 14-1. Our final game was a rematch against the Vegas Lights whose players looked as tall as the pine trees around the park. The game took on a championship boxing match feel. With both sides swapping runs and neither side giving an inch. The tying run was on her way home with the winning run rounding 3rd when the out was made and TI fell 5-6. The final record of the weekend was 4 wins and 2 losses. This Tourney had one of the best elimination day efforts TI has produced. It truly was a Fathers Day gift to all the Dad's seeing how hard their daughters played. 5 weeks to go ladies. Your Coaches could not be more proud of you.
On a seperate note: We won all 6 coin tosses (First time ever)
Team Intensity played in ASA Fun In The Sun Tournament this weekend and walked away with a 2nd place. We were playing with two starters on vacation when Drew decided to make a heroic out and break her wrist. Only Drew!! We picked up some awesome players and fought are way to the Championship Game finishing second. This tournament was meant to get some work in and our girls on average played in 4 different positions throughout the weekend rounding out their skills. It was fun bringing home hardware again and all the girls and coaches had a great time doing it. Remember girls the only way to live it, is the TI WAY TO LIVE!!!!!!!!!
Our national jerseys have been ordered and you will find on your statement the costs has been billed. It was decided as a team to put their last names on the back.

Team Intensity battles Mother Nature!!!
And loses! TI traveled to "Sunny" Southern Cal to show our skills and got rained out, but true to TI form the parents banded together to make the trip an awesome experiene for the girls. Instead of conquering softball TI conquered Knott's Berry Farm. We battled wind and rain and scary rides to come out as a tighter team. Awards for the trip to the Knott's go to "Moose" and "Princess Dynamite" for the "Steel Nerve" award for going on everyride. "Snoopy" and "Ollie Pop" get the "Iron Gut" award for dominating the spinning rides. "Skittles" destroyed the carnival games beating highschool aged baseball players to win prizes. "Rock Star" won the "Big Baby to Tough Guy" award for being afraid of every ride to overcoming her fear to going on many scary rides with her hands up. The" big wreck"award goes to "Bubblegum" on the bumper cars and "tough stuff" award goes to "Hollywood" for battling illness to brave the rides. Special thanks goes out to "Big Grill" Gabe for manning the fire pit to help feed a hungry crew and "Heavy Hauler" Nanci for moving gear and beef over the road also "Flying J" and family for the beverage supply. We had an awesome time and made the most of a downer situation, but thats what TI is about, getting all out of what we got.
AND MOST OF ALL WHEREVER TEAM INTENSITY GOES NO ONE IS EVER THE SAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AMAZING!!!!!!!! TEAM INTENSITY HAS MADE THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME 3 TIMES IN A ROW.
After 2 rain delays Team Intensity showed no rust in going 5 and 1 in the Holiday Tourney this weekend. This was a 15 team tourney the biggest of the year. We cannot list all the girls that did a great job because you would see our entire roster. The first 4 games our opponents felt the Intensity power, in which, we won by a margin of 8 runs per game. Of course no tourney would be complete without us facing the big Shockwave team who have won 5 12B tourneys this year. The lead was swapped in every inning except the one that counted the most. Team Intensity earned an 8-6 victory. We faced a very competetive Casa Grand Heat that were 5-0 coming into the Championship also. The score was 1-1 after 3 innings but in the end the Heat prevailed. This tourney concludes the beginning part of the season for Team Intensity. We have big plans ahead that are only limited by our heart and desire.
On a personal team note, we are EXTREMELY happy to add to the Team Intensity Nation Oliviah and her family.
