COLORADO SPARKLER UPDATES

TI rolled into Colorado in style.  The LIMO took the girls to the pin trading social and it was great fun. 

POOL PLAY "NOTHING WRONG WITH SILVER"

TI PLACED 3RD in pool play, going 2 and 2 and earned a spot in the SILVER SPARKLER TOURNAMENT.  We played great ball, losing our first game to the Olathe Rockets who finished 4th in the gold tournament.  A tough opening opponent, but we battled back and played great. 

ALL STARS

The girls who played in the All Star games all represented Team Intensity GREAT!  Congratulations to our own Haylee Finn for making the All American game and representing TI with great play and great hitting!  Out of 73 teams in the tournament, less than 20 teams had players in the All American game, and TI is one of them!  Thanks Haylee!!! 

SILVER TOURNAMENT

TI showed off there talents, playing strong ball in the elimination bracket.  The girls battled and played great TEAM ball.  This was one of our best tournaments ever.  Great Hitting, Great Defense, and Great Teamwork.  It was great having Kacee back from injury, and she played great.  We missed Libby though!  Wish she was here with us in battle!  Overall we finished with a TEAM On Base Percentage of .415 in a strong tournament.  We were knocked out by the Tucson Scramblers in a tight game, losing 5 to 4, but it took a great play to rob Alex's line drive in the last inning to beat us.

The coaches are so proud of you girls and the growth we have shown just in the last few months.  This has been a great season, and we look forward to more advanced play this coming year as we play mainly "A" level ball here on out.
