2010/2011 INDOOR TRYOUTS

Team Golden Triangle Field Hockey Club sign-ups and tryouts for the 2011/2012 indoor season will be held at:

v St. Edmund's Academy's Field House (Entrance & parking located on Forbes Ave)

v 5705 Darlington Road

v Pittsburgh, PA 15217

Sign-up and tryout dates and times are as follows:

v Saturday, November 5, 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm

v Wednesday, November 9, 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm

v Saturday, November 12, 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm

Sign-ups and tryouts are open to players of all age groups (U12, U14, U16, U19), and of all levels.  Players can either sign-up for club participation or try out for the travel teams.  Please complete attached registration form (click on handouts).  Tryout fee is $20 per session.  Club or travel team players, please include a $250 deposit which will go towards the club dues.  Deposits will only be returned if not selected.  Players opting for club participation need not try out.  Just show up and sign up, or mail your registration form and deposit to: TGT FHC c/o Kevin Tan, 210 Arden Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15216.

The season will run from the first Friday in December through the first Wednesday in March.  Practices are Wednesdays and Fridays, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm or 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm (age-group dependent) and tournaments are typically all-day events on Saturdays with travel on Friday and Saturday evenings.  A total of 5 tournaments are anticipated, approximately 2 tournaments per month.

Dues structure will be released upon finalization of contract with St. Edmund’s Academy and tournament schedule. As a basis, last year’s club and travel team dues were $375 and $775 respectively not including the National Indoor Tournament and Qualifier.  Tournament schedule and dues structure will be released at the kick-off meeting mid-December.
