Sport Specific Training, LLC is owned by Jeff Simpson. Jeff has a master’s degree in Exercise Physiology, and is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Jeff was a catcher on the University of Delaware baseball team from 1993-1998. During that time he was exposed to a science-based strength and conditioning program. After seeing the results in his own play, he decided to make a career out of helping young athletes maximize their athletic potential.
Throughout his career, Jeff has worked as a strength coach for the Los Angeles Dodgers, University of Maryland, University of Akron, University of Delaware, Cleveland Barons Jr. Hockey Club, and the Philadelphia Little Flyers, and various other individual professional and collegiate athletes. Since 1998 , Jeff has been helping amateur athletes excel in their chosen sport.
SST’s training philosophy is to push athletes to do things that they never thought they could do, in a fun, challenging atmosphere. He strives to educate each individual athlete on not only what to do, but why they want to do it!
PROGRAMS
PERSONALIZED TRAINING - Become the best athlete you can be! Work one on one with one of our strength and conditioning specialists. This intense training will push you to become an elite athlete with drills designed to improve your weaknesses and make your strengths dominant.
SMALL GROUP TRAINING - Work with your friends and teammates to become your best! In this small training group you will receive individualized instruction while pushing each other to succeed in a fun-filled, energy-driven atmosphere.
TEAM TRAINING - Become one! A team that sweats together is a team that stays together. Push your teammates to become the best they can be and see how good your team can become. Training will include all aspects of SST training and will be competitive and inspired.
SPEED CAMPS - Have SST come to your school or team and run a one time speed and agility camp. Camps will run for 3 hours and will cover all aspects of training. Get your team started on the right path to success today!
IN-HOME PERSONAL TRAINING - Now adults can experience the SST difference. No matter if you are a weekend warrior, looking to gain lean muscle mass, or just looking to lose a few pounds, this is the program for you. Have SST come to your home and help you achieve your goals!
