Team Crossover Elite is a boys and girls youth basketball program which consists of all-star basketball teams and hosting competitive tournaments. Our goal is to have a quality program that gives young men and women the opportunity to improve their skills, and help them develop character both on and off of the court.
Team Crossover Elite was put together by Robert Moore to help develop our youth, with their basketball skills, academic skills, life skills but most importantly their character. With the help of Raechelle Patterson, Betty Newby, Betty Park, Erica Moore, Coach Ali, Coach Robert Brown, Coach Tye Taylor, Jackie Stewart and the rest of the TCE staff we have put together a strong team here at Team Crossover Elite to provide our kids with the best support and programs. We have added to our organization a strength and conditioning trainer Jeff Simpson of Sport Specific Training.
The goal of Team Crossover Elite (TCE) is to develop Student Athletes and increase opportunities for them to go to college. We have a program that doesn't just focus on basketball; we have a life skills program; which teaches them about life without basketball; we have a strong academic program that we are really proud of; we have a work shop program designed to prepare them for their lives as an adult; we also have a tutoring program. So we have designed our program around trying to give our kids everything they need.
Each student athlete that we have is our responsibility and we don't take that lightly. We set goals for them and we as an organization work hard to make sure they achieve them. We always teach them:
In our first year, Team Crossover Elite was honored by the City of Wilmington's City Council
for our outstanding achievements in our first year. We have help developed young men and
women character and was able to keep them off the streets and our court systems. Not only have we help them on the court but off the court as well.
Please know there are many good basketball programs with strong values and proven track records throughout the Tri-State area. We encourage parents to get involved, ask good questions and make decisions with your child regarding the programs and/or teams that he/she participates in. This decision can make a big difference in your son/daughter's development and future.
