From Braddock Road/King's Park area-
Take Rolling Road south towards Old Keene Mill Road. Tuttle Road is the first road after West Springfield High School. Turn right on to Tuttle. Stay straight on Tuttle and we are located at the very dead end of the road through the gate. Our driveway has a blind curve in it, so be careful.
Please note that you cannot access our house from Hillside Road. You have to come from Rolling Road (contrary to what MapQuest shows).

Lake Braddock Park
On Lake Braddock Drive, about 1/2 mile north of Burke Lake Road.
From the West (Fairfax) head east on Braddock Road (towards the Beltway). Turn right on Guinea Road, then make your very first left onto Olley Lane. Go 3/10 of a mile to the stop sign at Lake Braddock Dr. Turn Right on Lake Braddock. The field is on the right, and parking is on the road.
From the Beltway, take Braddock Road West. At a little less than two miles, turn left on Burke Lake Road. Turn right on to Lake Braddock Drive just past Lake Braddock Secondary School. Field is on the right on the block just past the stop sign.
From the South, you can take Route 123 (Ox Road) from Woodbridge. Turn Right on Lee Chapel Road (construction zone). Follow Lee Chapel until you turn right on Burke Lake Road. At the second traffic signal after the railroad bridge, turn left onto Lake Braddock Drive. Follow Lake Braddock Dr to the four way stop. Field is on the right just past the intersection. Parking is along the street (Lake Braddock Dr).

Pine Ridge Park
Located on Woodburn Road near Fairfax Hospital.
From Beltway, take Gallows Road Exit. Turn LEFT onto Gallows. Make a LEFT at the first Signal (Woodburn Road). Go about 3/10 mile, Park is on the left (not very well marked). Field 4 is closest to road, Field 5 is next field on the left.
From Winterset field, take Woodburn Road away from Little River Tnpke. Turn right at the stop sign (you are still on Woodburn). Go 1.2 miles to Park on the right.

Wakefield Rec Center
Braddock Road at the Beltway (I 495). From the Beltway, take the Braddock Road (Rt 620) WEST exit. Wakefield Park is the first right turn. Continue down the park road about 1/2 mile to the Rec Center on the left. The soccer field is located behind the Rec Center building and you can park in the Rec Center parking lot.
From the King's Park area, take Braddock Raod East. The Park's entrance is a left urn at the signal for Queesbury Ave., just before the Ravensworth Shopping Center and the Beltway.

Winterset Varsity Park
From 495 (Beltway) take Rt 236 West (Little River Turnpike).
Go past Northern Virginia Community College and turn right on Woodburn Rd.
Turn right into Fairfax County Police station. Field is behind Police station.
You should park in the back part of the police parking lot on the right side of the building.
From the Braddock Road area, take Guinea Road over to Little River Tnpke. Turn right on Little River, and Woodburn will be the first left hand turn AFTER the signal for Prosperity Ave. The Police Station/Park will be the first thing on the right. Pull into the back of the parking lot. The field is behind the row of pine trees.

Idylwood Park
From the Little River Turnpike (Route 236) area near Winterset Field, take Prosperity Avenue (at our "Winterset Pizza Hut") to Lee Hwy (Rte 29) (at the big Post Office). Turn right on Lee Hwy. Go 1/2 mile, turn left on Gallows Road (the 3rd signal- at the Taco Bell). Proceed on Gallows Road for about 1.4 miles.
Turn right at signal onto IDYLWOOD Road. This is on a curve, and you can't see the Idylwood Rd sign in advance. It is the first traffic light after the signal for the WO&D bike trail. Take the turn onto Idylwood slow due to the weird angle of the road.
Go about .7 mile to turn right onto Virginia Lane. Virginia Lane is the first right after you pass over the Beltway. After you turn onto Virginia Lane, it veers to the left. Proceed on Virginia Lane for about .3 mile. The Idylwood Park entrance is on right, just before bridge over Route 66.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE ROADS ARE NARROW, TWO LANE ROADS WITH LIMITED SIGHT DISTANCES. BE REAL CAREFUL. PARKING IS VERY LIMITED AND CARPOOLS ARE ENCOURAGED.
Park is at 7715 Virginia Lane.

Take Nutley Road North from Rt 50. Cross over Rt 66 and turn left on Courthouse Rd.

RFK Stadium
From Springfield, take I-395 North towards Washington. At the 14th Street bridge over the Potomac, stay on I-395 (do not go to 14th St.) Once you are on the SE/SW Freeway (after the Maine St exit) get into the left lane and stay there. That lane will lead you directly to the stadium parking lot (lot 8). Parking is somewhere between $10 and $15.
Gate A is to the left if you are walking from lot 8. Past Gate A is the Main Gate (up the stairs) and then Gate F (going clockwise around the stadium).

Rolling Valley West
Rolling Valley West - is located on Sydenstricker Road just off of Old Keene Mill Road near the Pohick Regional Library.
Many ways to get there-some suggestions:
From the Kings Park Area, take Rolling Road South to Old Keene Mill Road. Turn right on Old Keene Mill, proceed about 2 miles to a left onto Sydenstricker (second signal past Rolling Valley Mall). Go past library and Park entrance is on the right.
From I-495 (southbound)(outer loop) take Exit 54 Braddock Road west (to avoid downtown Springfield) approximately 2 miles to left on Burke Lake Road at the traffic light. Take Burke Lake Road almost 3 miles to left on Lee Chapel Road at the traffic light. Take Lee Chapel Road approximately 1/2 mile to left on Old Keene Mill Road at the traffic light. Take Old Keene Mill Road approximately 1/3 mile to right on Sydensticker Road at the traffic light. Take Sydenstricker Road approximately 1/4 mile to RVW on the right.
From I-95, take Rt 644/Old Keene Mill Road west approximately 5 miles to left on Sydenstricker Road at the traffic light. Take Sydenstricker Road approximately 1/4 mile to RVW pm the right.
From Fairfax County Parkway, take Rt 644/Old Keene Mill Road east approximately 1 and 1/3 miles to right turn on Sydenstricker Road at the traffic light (you will cross straight over Lee Chapel Road at the traffic light). Take Sydenstricker Road approximately 1/4 mile to RVW on the right.
As you leave the parking lot and walk between the basketball courts and tennis courts, the SYC-RVW field is the upper field on the left. Porta-potties available. No water.

South Run Rec Center
From Springfield take Old Keene Mill Road (Rt 644)West for about 6 miles and turn left on Lee Chapel Road. Follow Lee Chapel until junction of Fairfax County Parkway (Rte 7100). Take left on the Fairfax County Parkway and South Run Rec Center will be on right in about 1/2 mile.
From Fairfax City - Take Route 123 South to the Fairfax County Parkway (Rte 7100). Take the Parkway heading South and the South Run Rec Center will be on right about 1/2 mile past the intersection with Lee Chapel Road.
As you enter, the first soccer field on the left is field #4. The next is field #5. Field #5 has lights.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE MAPPING FUNCTION IS A LITTLE BIT OFF. THE PARK IS ON THE FAIRFAX COUNTY PARKWAY DIRECTLY OPPOSITE OF RESERVATION DRIVE. The mapping function puts it a block up Reservation, and I can't change it.
