Team 19 Wins Its 3rd Super Bowl By Defeating Lakota Team #18 20-12 and Cheer Team Wins The Edgewood Holiday Cheer Competition
Team 19 finished what they started when they won their 3rd Super Bowl in four years. After last years devestating loss to Loveland #2, Team 19 vowed to get back to where they started and remove any doubt about who is the leagues best. Team 19 beat a very worthy foe in fellow Tomahawk Team #18. Team #19 leaves behind a legacy as only one other team before them has ever won three Championshps. Congrats to Team 19.
Team 19 Cheerleaders also won the Edgwood Holiday Cheer Classic as the top cheer squad for their grade and was also crowned the overall champion of all of the grades. Also congrats to Jamie Benson and Leah Aspinwall who also placed first in the Jump Off Competition.

Team 19 Blanks CHCA 32-0
Team 19 played their annual game against CHCA this year and came out ready to play from the start. After the Eagles converted a pass on 4th and long for an early first down, they tried to pass again and it was picked off by Buzz Berleman to set up the Tomahawks first touchdown. It didn't take long as Kaleb Lepper took the first play from scrimmage offensively for a 55 yard TD jaunt where he went untouched. Julian Boykins converted the kick and Team 19 took a quick 8-0 lead. The Eagles 2nd drive ended like the first one with an interception, but this time is what Kaleb Lepper with the theft. Team 19 took over and drove the ball down the field and found paydirt when Brett Schneider slashed his way in from the one. After Julian Boykins converted the kick the score was 16-0. Then the stingy Team 19 defense forced a quick 3 and out so Team 19 went back on offense again. After the Tomahawks showed a nice balance of running and throwing, Andrew Acuna got lose for a 18 yard TD run. This time AJ Juelg converted the kick and the score went to 24-0. Right before halftime, the Eagles started to drive and got down to the three yard line with seconds left in the half. That is when Buzz Berleman decided to put a stop to it all and picked off a pass in the endzone but ran out of gas as he returned the interecption 65 yards to stop the only threat that CHCA had. The second half was not as exciting as the first as both teams kept taking turns with the ball and not converting their 4th down attempts. Then with 2 minutes left in the game, Team 19 got the ball back and had an opportunity to work on their two minute offense and did a great job moving the ball right down the field eventually completing a 15 yard TD pass from Kaleb Lepper to Luc Gendreau. AJ Jeulg converted the kick and the final score was 32-0.
Team 19 tallied 277 yards off offense. Kaleb Lepper led all rushers with 78 yards, Nick Sam 68, Andrw Acuna 42, Austin Hatfield 16, Sam Roth 12, Brett Schneider 9, Julian Boykins 6, DJ Benson 5, and Jake Dauer 2. Kaleb Lepper was 4 of 5 passing for 40 yards. Luc Gendreau had 15 yards receiving, Julian Boykins 9, and Brett Schneider 16.
The defense was led by Sam Roth and Luc Gendreau who had 5 tackles a piece while Buzz Berleman had 4 tackles and two interceptions and Nick Sam had 4 tackles. Ben Hinton added 3 tackles, while Jack Vanhorn, Austin Haley, Jake Dauer, Luke Brown, and MJ O'Brien added 2. Lepper also had an interception.

Team 19 Beats Mason #5 24-12
Team 19 had their first home game this Sunday and the atmosphere was electrifying. The cheerleader's music was awesome, the crowd was doing the Tomahawk chop, and there where shouts of "Whose House?" from the parents. There is no doubt that "Chills" where felt as Team 19 did their "beehive" and stormed through their banner. By no surprise, playing a Mason team had the players the most "pumped up" that I have seen this year. After a first drive where Mason really could not move the ball at all so they had to punt the ball over to Lakota and after a nice punt return by Julian Boykins, Team 19 took over on Offense. Team 19 played "Woody Hayes football" with 5 yards and a cloud of dust as they ran the ball between the tackles and had no problems moving the ball up the field. Austin Hatfield finished off the drive bulldozing his way in from the 3 yard line and after an AJ Juelg kick the score was 8-0. After another quick 3 and out for Mason #5, the Tomahawk offense took over and it did not take that long this time as Nick Sam busted lose on the 2nd play and ran for a 25 yard jaunt. After another AJ Juelg kick, the score was 16-0. Once again the Tomahawks defense was very stingy on defense and took over on downs with 3 minutes left in the half. The Tomahawks managed the clock well using a variety of runs and passes, their timeouts, and spiking the ball twice to march down the field to set up the last score before half. With 8 seconds left in the half, Kaleb Lepper hit Austin Hatfield in stride who capped off the 18 yard TD reception with a powerfull stiff arm of the Mason's safety. After a perfect day for AJ Juleg kicking, the score at half was 24-0 Lakota.
From there Team 19 called off the dogs, and Mason #5 rallied back to score two touchdowns late in the 4th quarter to make the game look closer than it was with the final score being 24-12. The Tomahawk offense racked up 152 yards of offense. Kaleb Lepper led all rushers with 29 yards while Nick Sam added 25, Austin Hatfield 18, Brett Schneider 10, Andrew Acuna 9, Julian Boykins 9, and Same Roth 3. Lepper passed 3 of 4 for 29 yards and Jordan Shean passed 1 of 2 for 22 yards. AJ Juelg lead all receivers with 22 receptions yards, Austin Hatfield 22, and Buzz Berleman 9 yards. The defense was led by Andrew Binzer's 5 tackles while Nick Sam added 4, Brett Schneider 3, Julian Boykins 3, Mikey Kennard 2, Jack Vanhorn 2, Bin Hinton 2, and Jake Dauer 2.
How cool did the cheerleaders look in their shades!!!!???!!! Their future is so bright they have to wear shades! Cheerleaders also showed off their new half time dance that should be a crowd pleasure all season long. The Team 19 cheerleaders are Leah Aspinwall, Jamie Benson, Emily Harris, Jenna Hill, Ryane Kotte, Emily Oleson, Erika Orr, Tristan Philpot, Brittany Shannon, Morgan Smith, Kelsie Wieland, Kaelin Wieland, and Meghan O'Brien.

Team 19 Wins First Division Game 20-12 Against Sycamore
Lakota Team 19 had its first division game when they played a much improved Sycamore team that was able to sustain a long drive eating up the entire 1st quarter to score on its opening drive to put Team 19 in a very unfamiliar place being behind 6-0. The offense answered the challenge by storming back and scoring on their first possession as well but did have some luck on their side. On the 7th play of the drive, Austin Hatfield rumbled for a great 12 yard run up the gut but fumbled in the endzone but Michael John O'Brien on a heads up play landed on the fumble to pick up the touchdown to tie the game at 6-6. After Team 19 made some quick adjustments on defense, they stopped Sycamore three and out to set up the drive that allowed the Tomahawks to take the lead when Nick Sam rambled for a 25 yard touchdown run. When AJ Juelg converted the kick the score and momentum changed to a 14-6 halftime lead by the Tomahawks. The second half started with some great defense on both sides of the ball but when Sycamore converted a 4th and 20th on a controversial call the momentum started to change back to Sycamore as they scored on the next play to bring the score to 14-12. The next Tomahawk drive was a long one but fizzled out in the redzone on a great play by Sycamore that caused a fumble and allowed them one more chance with only minutes left in the game. That chance was taken from them when Kaleb Lepper picked off a pass and returned it 25 yards deep into Sycamore territory and then Lepper scored on the next play on a QB keeper to push the score to 20-12. Nick Sam led all rushers with 50 yards rushing while Lepper added 47, Andrew Acuna 37, Brett Schneider 16, and Austin Hatfield 16. The defense was led by Nick Sam's 7 tackles, Brett Schneider 6, Kaleb Lepper 5, Andrew Binzer 4, Sam Roth 4, Austin Hatfield 4, Luc Gendreau 4, Andrew Acuna 4, Luke Brown 3, and DJ Benson 3. The Tomahawk cheers where led by by Leah Aspinwall, Jamie Benson, Emily Harris, Jenna Hill, Ryane Kotte, Emily Oleson, Erika Orr, Tristan Philpot, Brittany Shannon, Morgan Smith, Kelsie Wieland, Kaelin Wieland, and Meghan O'Brien.

Team 19 Beat Kings 6H 14-0 in Preview
Team 19 got off to another quick start when they scored on their 2nd play from scrimmage with a spectacular TD pass from Kaleb Lepper to Luc Gendreau that went for 61 yards. When Andrew Jelung split the uprights Team 19 took a quick 8-0 lead. The rest of the first half was a battle of two good defenses as neither team could get much going. On the Tomahawks first possession of the 2nd half, Kaleb Lepper found pay-dirt when he out ran the Kings Defense for a 55 yard TD run. That was all the tough, Team 19 defense needed as they held Kings in check the rest of the game. The defense was led by Ben Hinton, Buzz Berleman, Luc Gendreau, and Nick Sam who all had 5 tackles a piece. Brett Schneider and DJ Benson added 3 a piece. The Tomahawk cheers where led by by Leah Aspinwall, Jamie Benson, Emily Harris, Jenna Hill, Ryane Kotte, Emily Oleson, Erika Orr, Tristan Philpot, Brittany Shannon, Morgan Smith, Kelsie Wieland, Kaelin Wieland, and Meghan O'Brien.

Welcome to the "Jungle" Team 19 As They Maul Milford #18 36 to 0
The 6th grade Lakota TomahawkTeam 19 wasted no time getting things moving at Paul Brown Stadium when the first play from scrimmage for the Eagles was picked off my Sam Roth for the Tomahawks. Then the Tomahawks took the ball and played old fashion smash mouth football pulling out their jumbo package and pounding the ball inside with a steady diet of Brett Schneider and Austin Hatfield. Hatfield finished off the drive banging it in from the one yard line with the first of many touchdowns for Team 19 on the day. Andrew Acuna ran in the extra point attempt to make it a quick 8 to 0 lead. After a three and out, the Team 19 offense took over the next possession and drove the ball down to the one with nice runs by DJ Benson and Sam Roth capped off when Jordan Shean plunged his way into the endzone for the 2nd touchdown of the day. The extra point conversion was converted with a Jordan Shean pass to Michael Reimer to make it 16-0. After the Tomahawks forced a fumble that was recovered by Nick Sam, Team 19 scored on their next play when Kaleb Lepper found Buzz Berleman for a 27 yard touchdown pass to make the half time score 22-0. The second half brought out the "HOG" ground game when Team 19 let the lineman get some glory with great runs by Ben Hinton, Luke Brown, Alex Parker, and Andrew Binzer. Nick Sam finished off the drive when he darted around the end on the way to a 20 yard TD run. Andrew Binzer converted the extra point run to bring the score to 30-0. The scoring finally ended when Kaleb Lepper surprised the Milford defense on a 4th and 9 QB sneak when he squirted through the middle for a 55 yard TD jaunt to round the scoring out at 36-0. The Tomahawk cheers where led by by Leah Aspinwall, Jamie Benson, Emily Harris, Jenna Hill, Ryane Kotte, Emily Oleson, Erika Orr, Tristan Philpot, Brittany Shannon, Morgan Smith, and Meghan O'Brien.
