| How is it that the Instructional League - 8 yr olds is instructional. My son tries very hard. He may not be the best, but he is trying and is learning. However standing in the outfield for 4 innings and getting only 2 innings at an infield position is hardly instructional. I don't expect him to play 4 innings in the infield every week, but there are kids that never see the outfield and these are the kids that do not need as much instruction. It very much seems like the coaches have pre-determined who will go on to Majors and who will not and those that will play the game while the rest play left out. If this were competitive baseball, I would understand that you play to win and have to play your best players. This is not that though. Very disappointed in the league at this point. I would have expected better at this level. |
