WELCOME TO THE HOME OF THE 10U TALLAHASSEE MERCHANTS 98 FASTPITCH SOFTBALL TRAVEL TEAM!
You can motivate by fear, and you can motivate by reward. But both those methods are only temporary. The only lasting thing is self motivation.
News/Updates:
The team placed 2nd in the Panama City Fastpitch tournament May 2-3, 2009 in Panama City, Florida. Great job as always girls!
The girls played hard and came away with a 1st place finish in the Wakulla Wave Spring Warm-Up April 18-19, 2009. They finished the tournament undefeated, with 51 runs scored, 8 runs allowed, and no errors. Great job girls!!!
Our team traveled to Ocala, Florida March 7-8, 2009 for the NSA March Madness at Shocker Park. The girls played hard and came away with a 2nd place finish in the Silver bracket. Congratulations girls!
We are dedicated to providing a competitive environment for the players to improve their skills through hard work, encouragement, and positive reinforcement. We enjoy watching these young girls develop character, confidence, and mature as a team through the game of softball. Not only are we helping to develop young athletes, but also, most importantly develop young adults that will contribute in society with self motivation, respect, and a winning attitude towards life. We are thankful and honored that the parents of our team trust us with their daughters. Thank You!
Hold The Rope!
If you were hanging from a cliff 2,000 feet above the ground, who would you want to hold the rope for you? Think about it. As you look around for others who may hold the rope for you, think about whom you would hold the rope for. If it is only one or two people that is definitely not enough. We should be willing to hold the rope for whoever needs us to. A great team will hold the rope when the going gets tough. EVERYONE MUST HOLD THE ROPE!
