DOLPHINS ROCK!!!

The Dolphins are an independent select soccer team based in Tukwila, WA.  We are members of the Tukwila-Skyway (TUSK) soccer club, which is part of the Greater Renton Junior Soccer Association (GRJSA).  Player profiles may be accessed from CaptainU at http://www.captainu.com/teams/286-soccer-tusk-dolphins.

The Dolphins finished their GU-16 season in the Washington State Challenge Cup Final losing to Snohomish United Black 1-0.  With P3 season and Challenge Cup combined, The Dolphin GU-16 record was 10-4-2, with 25 goals for, 11 goals against and 8 shutouts.  It truly was a great season and we cannot be more excited for our team to build upon this success and compete for a P2 spot next season!

The Dolphins take a break from Club Soccer while the girls play High School soccer.  However, we will get together every other Sunday during the High School season to knock the ball around and stay in touch.  If your team is looking for a game during this time, check our calendar to see which Sundays we will be training.  If you see a date that works, give us a call and maybe we can set up a match!

The Dolphins next tournament will be the Starfire Field Turf College Showcase; which takes place November 27-29.  Enjoy your High School soccer season and we will see you on the pitch soon!

Dolphins love to play friendlies! We train at Starfire Sports Complex and play our home games at Foster High School in Tukwila, WA. If you would like to set up a scrimmage with us at either of these locations, give us a call and we do our best to find a date and time that works for both teams.  We are also open to traveling to your favorite pitch.  Just let us know and we will help make the arrangements!

The Dolphin Philosophy

For the U-17 season, The Dolphins92 coaching staff will focus on team tactics and functional skills training to help the girls prepare for the next level.  As educators of this beautiful game, we strive to achieve a balance between European discipline and Latin American technique.  Using this philosophy, we believe our players will become so comfortable with the ball they will demonstrate their own unique fluidity and rhythm on the field.

However, the development of a truly successful soccer player does not occur over night but is a journey that can only be measured in years of dedication, not days.  As parents and coaches, ‘Our Mission’ for the 2009/10 season is to provide these terrific young women the unique opportunity to compete in several College Showcases and continue to develop together as a team, both on and off the pitch.  That is, we believe the character and composure developed in soccer carry over into everyday life.  After all, life is soccer...or is soccer life?
