I disagree with the comment left by oink4u.
TYB is actually a good program suited for children from 5yrs - 14yrs old. oink4u may have experienced an isolated incident but 95% of the coaching staff was timely and did a great job. And all of the coaches paid for their children to play and volunteered their time. Some parent love to complain and be a part of the problem and never a part of the solution like OINK4U...

| Worst youth basketball I've ever seen. Totally disorganized, volunteer coaches are only there to have their own kids play for free. Schedules are changed at a moments notice without calling parents. Coaches arrive very late and don't know how to coach at all. Stay away from TYB and save your $. |

My son has played in TYB for the last 4 seasons and this year is truly the largest turnout that I've seen. If you find a need for help, please reach out to me for I have an entire coaching staff that will assist with any age divison.

| Good TYB Holiday Tournament, despite the weather. TYB held its own, finishing in the money with a Sr. Boys 3rd Place, Jr. Boys Runner-ups, and even a 1st Place finish for our Midget Boys. All the kids played well, as shown in their 1-2-3 finishes, against pretty good competition from all over the place. The whole tournament was well run, with stellar efforts from the Administration, the Jr. Helpers, and especially the Canteen, where 2 very special people (Debbie Passeretti and Karen Sarraga) held down a very busy food-fort throughout. It's back to the Rec for now, but our Teaneck kids are still on the all-star trails and doing well in every division, in tournaments all around the Bergen NJ bball area and beyond. **Of special note, at this time, our Midgets (10s) are undefeated, with a 30-0 record, last I checked...Probably 35-0 by now...:) Congrats guys, keep up the great work! *Oh and best of luck on this new website...:) -Go Teaneck, Go! |
