Skills Competition for 7/8, 9/10, 11/12, 13/14 (age as of July 17, 2009)

Pitch - tests accuracy only

Hit - tests distance and accuracy hitting from a stationary batting tee

Run - tests speed in a sprint from second base to home plate

All-around and each skill champion advances from each age group to Super Regional

Super Regional champions advance to National Finals for chance to win all-expense paid trip to 2009 All-Star Game in St. Louis
