A very sad day for TRSA and the entire community
Our soccer community today lost its heart and soul with the passing of Paddy O'Neill. He was tragically taken from us early this evening. He fought tirelessly to beat this dreaded disease but it was not to be. He was truly a dedicated father, husband, coach, teacher and friend. He touched so many people, especially the children, that his life will live on in the people who knew him and loved him. As one person put it recently, he was an icon. To the children of TRSA, he was a saint. from the TRSA website @ TRSOCCER.com

Thoughts and Memories of Paddy
God Bless you Paddy. You'll be in our hearts forever - Bill L
We'll always love you Paddy!! Thank you for being a part of us! - Tom & Karen L
I have no words to describe how sad we are. Whenever we ask Veronica, "Of all the soccer trainers you've met, who taught you the most?" Her answer is always the same, "Coach Paddy". Paddy, you touched our hearts and we will never forget you. - Elaine Y

In your short time, you impacted so many people's lives, including mine.
You were an awesome coach, and taught me a wonderful game.
You always helped me push myself, go that extra mile.
* *
Everyday I still think of you and it makes me miss you that much more.
You were such a wonderful person, friend and coach.
And I just wish you could still be here.
Soccer, much less life, really isn't the same without you.
I miss you so much ...
You have left a whole in my heart that will never be replaced!

Thank you for being a part of my life!

That is a great site on Paddy. I miss him very much and I know you all do too. Paddy was not just a good soccer trainer he was also a good person. I loved him very much and I will never forget him. He touched so many peoples lives from teaching little kids the game of soccer. I know he is up in heaven right now going dear oh dear oh dear why are they making a big fuss over me but thats because he has touched all of us in so many ways.
I will never forget Paddy!!! - Casey M
Coach Paddy, It's unbelievable that your actually gone. You have taught me everything that I know but yet I have so much more to learn. When my mom told me the news I didn't believe her. So then I went down onto the computer to see if it were actual true, that's when I wrote these poems for you:
- Some People Just Don't Understand The Feelings Deep Down Inside..
But Most Emotions I Can't Bottle Up And Hide..
All You Wanted In Life Was For Everyone To Try,
Well I'm Going To Keep That Dream Of Yours Alive ..
Never Will I Give Up Or Not Do My Best
Because I Know Your Heaven Sayin ..
"Ah Kim Ya Silly Billy What A Mess!" -
-- I Can't Believe You Left Us
I Still Don't Believe Your Gone
But God Must Have Needed You In Heaven,
Something Was Probably Going Wrong..
Why Else Would He Take Someone Like You ..
I Guess He Needed Another Angel, SomeoneThat We Could All Pray To --
--- Life Feels So Empty Without You Around,
The Fields Seem So Quiet..There's Not A Sound
Everywhere You Look People Stand With Their Heads Bowed Down,
But I Know Your In Heaven Now, Saying "Dear Oh Dear Oh Dear"
You'll Always Be In My Heart But I Wish You Could Still Be Here ---
*There Were More I Wrote About You Coach Paddy, But I Figured I Wouldn't Take Up The Entire Guest Book. Life Is So Hard Without You Coach Paddy But I'm Going To Stay Strong For You Because I Know That's What You Would Want Me To Do, So I'm Going To. When Ever I Step Out On The Field Now I Play For You, I Go Out Harder Each Time..
And Now It's Just ALL For You, Because You ALways Gave Your ALL To Me. Thank You Coach Paddy, I Love You And Miss You SO Much!

Paddy,
I miss you more than you can ever imagine.
I still can not believe you are truly gone.
I am glad I had gotten the chance to meet
and learn from a person like you!!
You taught me everything that I know about soccer,
and you are the reason I play today.
Thank you for having the patience to put up with me,
because I know that it wasn't very easy!!
You touched me in so many different ways!!
xox I miss you!! xox

Rest in Peace, Paddy, on the 1 year anniversary of your passing. We miss you and think of you often. We are glad to be back playing for TR. It would be so much better if you we could still see your smile on the field. You are in our hearts.
