WELCOME TO THE TONY WILLIAMS TRACK CLUB WEB SITE
OUR CLUB IS COMMITTED TO ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE,AND INSTILLING A HEALTHY RESPECT FOR ATHLETES THROUGH COMPETITION IN TRACK AND FIELD. TUTORIAL ASSISTANCE IS OFFERED TO ALL ATHLETES TO HELP MAINTAIN A 3.0 GPA AND HIGHER. THE CLUB CURRENTLY HAS 75 MEMBERS. OUT OF 75 MEMBERS THE CLUB CURRENTLY HAS 5 ATHLETES WITH 4.0 GPA,18 ATHLETES WITH 3.6 GPA, 22 ATHLETES WITH 3.4 AND 12 ATHLETES WITH 3.0 GPA. ELEMENTARY STUDENT ATHLETES ARE NO LONGER GRADED ALONG TRADITIONAL METHODS,BUT MAINTAIN GOOD GRADES WITH "E" AND "S" RATINGS. THE COACHES OBJECTIVE IS TO MOTIVATE THE ATHLETES TO SUCCESS BY UNDERSTANDING THEIR WEAKNESSES AS WELL AS THEIR STRENGTH, THEREBY DEVELOP REALISTIC AND WINNING STRATEGIES.

THE 2005 NUMBER ONE 400 METERS MIGET BOY CHAMPION:
CARLYLE GARRICK, JR BECOMING THE FIRST USATF NATIONAL JUNIOR OLYMPIC CHAMPION FOR THE TWTC IN HISTORY. HE GAVE A GREAT PERFORMANCE IN THE 400 METERS AS WELL PLACING 3RD IN THE 200 METERS AND 6TH IN THE 100 METERS.
TEAM MATE EMILY PAYNE BANTAM GIRL GAVE HER FIRST PERFORMANCE AT THE UASTF NATIONAL JR.OLYMPIC IN THE LONG JUMP AND FINSIHING 15TH PLACE.

TWTC. HAS IT'S TOP SPRINTER RUNNING AT THE 2004 NATIONAL JR. OLYMPIC IN EUGENE, OR BEGIN ON 28 JULY THRU 02 AUG. " CARLYLE GARRICK, JR SHOW HIS TALENT THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE SEASON WITH BATTLES AFTER BATTLES IN THE MIDGET BOYS 100 AND 200 METERS. NOW HE WILL GO UP AGAINST OTHER TOP SPRINTERS FROM 50 OTHER STATES. DESPITE HIS LONG JUMP EFFORT HIS OTHER TEAM MATES.
"EMILY PAYNES" CONTINUE HER BATTLE IN THE 100 AND 200 METERS AS WELL. HER BIGGEST BATTLE WAS THE BANTAM GIRLS LONG JUMP. SHE CONTINUE TO BATTLE FROM THE START OF THE SEASON TO THE THE END. EMILY NEVER GAVE UP BUT HER EFFORTS OF NOT MAKING IT TO THE NATIONALS WAS BEATING OUT BY 1/4 OF AN INCH.
TWTC YOUTH GIRL "CHELSEY KAMSON" HAD BIGGER BATTLES. CHELSEY DID NOT ALLOW THE OTHER SPRINTERS TO HOLD HER BACK. CHELSEY GAVE THEM A HARD RUN FOR THEIR EFFORTS TO DELETE HER FROM ATTENDING THE NATIONALS. CHELSEY IMPROVE HER PERSONAL BEST EACH TIME SHE RAN THE 100 AND 200 METERS. THE ONLY THING ABOUT CHELSEY SHE SHALL RETURN NEXT YEAR IN THE SAME AGE GROUP TO DEFEAT HER LOSS AND MAKE THE 2005 NATIONAL JR. OLYMPIC.
THE CLUB GIVE THE WHOLE CREDIT TO THE 3rd YEAR HEAD COACH AND VICE PRESIDENT "RAUOL PEREZ" WHO HAS SHOW CASE GO TALENT WITH HIS ATHLETES.NO MATTER WHAT COACH PEREZ GIVE IT ALL IN COACHING HIS ATHLETES.

7th ANNUAL APRICOT 5K & 10k AT CREEKSIDE MIDDLE SCHOOL ON SATURDAY JUNE T.B.A. 2008. COST $15.00,$20.00 and Free for kids 7 and under with a paid adult entry fee.
6th ANNUAL FIELD EVENTS CHAMPIONSHIP T.B.A. JUNE 2008 GRANADA HIGH SCHOOL LIVERMORE, CA
14th ANNUAL "COUNTRY HILL RUN" 2K; 3K; 4K & 5K RUN AT CREEKSIDE MIDDLE SCHOOL ON SUNDAY NOV. 18 2007 AT 7:00 AM COST $6.00 YOUTHS AND $10.00 ADULTS
