Recreational Class Information
- Our recreational gymnastics classes are offered in 8 week sessions from the fall through the spring, and 4 week sessions throughout the summer months.
- Each class meets once per week.
- Children may join a class at any time during the session. We will pro-rate the current session fees for you.
- A $45 Annual Membership Fee (one per family) is due the first time you sign up your child, and yearly thereafter.
- Class times may change from session to session, so please check the schedule before signing up for a particular class.
- Additional classes and/or family members will receive a 20% discount off of class fees.

Recreational Class Fees
- Fees for 45 minute classes are $95.00/8 week session or $47.50/4 week session.
- Fees for 1 hour classes are $99.00/8week session or $49.50/4 week session.
- Discounted annual rates are available. Call or email for details.
- We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, Check or Cash for payment.

PRE-SCHOOL CLASSES
TURTLES (Parent / Guardian and Tot)
This is a 45 min. class for parents and their toddler (18 mo. to 35 mo. old). These children will work on gross motor skills, as well as, getting familiar with the gymnastics class setting. With the aid of an instructor the parent will help their child with basic forward and backward rolls, cartwheels, handstands and body positions. They will also familiarize the children in this group with: the bars, beam, springboard, trampoline and fast track.
INCHWORMS
This is a 45 min. class for 3-4 year olds. These children build on the skills learned in the Turtles class, as well as, working on taking turns, following simple directions and staying in line. It is also perfect classes for your 3-4 year old to get his/her start in gymnastics. They continue working on forward and backward rolls, cartwheels, handstands and body positions. With the help of an instructor the children will gain confidence in themselves and their ability to perform basic preschool level gymnastics skills.

LEVEL 2-7 RECREATIONAL CLASSES

LADY BUGS
(CLASS LEVEL 2)
This is a one hour beginning level class for 4-5 year olds. This group will work on forward and backward rolls, cartwheels, handstands, pullovers, back-hip-circles, swings, walks and rolls on high and low balance beams, hitting the springboard correctly, and vaulting.
CATERPILLARS
(CLASS LEVEL 3/4)
This is a one hour beginning level class for 5 year olds and up. This group will work on forward and backward rolls, cartwheels, handstands, pullovers, back-hip-circles, swings, walks and rolls on high and low balance beams, hitting the springboard correctly, and vaulting.
KOALAS
(CLASS LEVEL 5)
This is a one hour intermediate level class for children who have mastered the basics. This group is ready to work on backbend pull-ups, round-offs, handstand forward rolls, front limbers, pullovers, back-hip-circles, shoot through, cartwheels and handstands on the balance beams and handstand flat backs on the pit.
WALLABIES
(CLASS LEVEL 6)
This is a one hour intermediate/advanced level class for children who have mastered the basics, as well as, the Koala skills. This group will continue to build on the skills learned in the previous levels. This group will move onto front and back walkovers and front and back handsprings. Instructor recommendation required for this class.
KANGAROOS
(CLASS LEVEL 7)
This is a one hour advanced class where the students have mastered all of the basic and intermediate skills on each piece of equipment. Instructor recommendation required for this class.

TUMBLING/HIGH SCHOOL PREP CLASSES

FLIP FLOPS
(BACK HANDSPRING CLASS)
This is a one hour class for students who are interested in learning how to perform a back handspring. In this class students also work on drills, other skills and conditioning to increase their strength and flexibility to make learning this skill easier.
HIGH SCHOOL PREP
This is a monthly class offered to girls in 8th grade - 12th grade who are interested in joining a high school gymnastics team. Gymnasts will have the option to attend either one or two days a week. Classes are 1.5 hours long and will focus on which ever events gymnasts are interested in competing on in high school. Class is taught by Franklin Central gymnastics coach, Kim Dykes, and Perry Meridian gymnastics assistant coach, Shannon Greitman. Gymnasts from ANY high school are welcome to attend. Class fees are $45.00 per month for each day of the week attended.

BOYS ONLY CLASS
| If you have a boy that is interested in learning about and practicing on the equipment used for men's gymnastics, the boys only class will fit his needs. This class is geared towards building strength and flexibility, as well as teaching the basics of all 6 of the mens events. Boys will learn skills that pertain to the floor, vault, parallel bars, high bar, pommel horse and rings. |
COMPETITIVE TEAMS

OHIO VALLEY CONFERENCE GYMNASTICS
Competitive gymnastics squads training team Level 2 through Level 9. This conference competes with the same rules, regulations and routines as USAG, and uses USAG judges. However, it requires less practice time than USAG allowing for competition to be on a more recreational level.
USAG GYMNASTICS
Now Boys & Girls Teams!USAG Gymnastics sets the national standards for Gymnastics competition. Under this conference, our gymnasts will compete to their highest levels with more practice time. This is for the serious gymnast who wants to gymnastics to be their sport.

OPEN GYM
|
Open gym is just what it sounds like. It's a special time set aside when the gym floor is open to everyone, members and non-members. Many gymnasts and cheerleaders use this time to practice skills that their instructors have asked them to work on in class or practice. For others it’s a time to see what gymnastics is all about. There are instructors on the floor at all times to ensure safety, to assist, and to spot you on those skills you are working on. All you have to do is ask!

PRIVATE LESSONS

The Gymnastics Company offers private and semi private lessons for those who want, or need, special attention in their gymnastics or cheer routines and tumbling. This is special one on one or one on two time working with our professional coaching staff to enhance your specific abilities.
