Congratulations on a great job at the Ronald McDonald. You hung tough and placed 3rd. We talked about having pride in your play and each and every player displayed the pride and heart of a great team in this tourney.
You arguably had the toughest road to get to where you did as you had to play the teams that placed 2nd, 4th (twice), 5th, 7th and 9th to earn your 3rd place finish. You knocked two 14U teams out of the tourney, and you played 10 games in two days (11 overall). You also had to play 5 in a row on Sunday without a break.
You should be very proud of your efforts...I know I am.

Ice Girls:
Very proud of our results this weekend. We played 11 games in 2 days and went 9-2 even though our bats were not there on Saturday.
Going undefeated in our first 14U tournament as a first year 12U team is a huge accomplishment for which you should be very proud. Playing 5 back-to-back, 70 minute games in a row against older competition in very hot conditions and going undefeated against bigger and stronger competition should show you what you are capable of doing when you set your minds to being a champion! I honestly feel this is only the beginning of what you can do if you play together as a team and stay focused every play.

Great job this weekend in Spring. We were undefeated in pool and bracket play and rocking and rolling until the skys started rocking and rolling causing the tourney to be cancelled. Keep up the great hitting and defense. 21 runs in the first innings of our two bracket games was outstanding. In three games and one inning of the fourth game we scored a total of 34 runs! Your hard work in practice is beginning to pay off in a big way!
