HENDERSONVILLE- Trey Hemphill had 2 goals and 1 assist. Austin Stamey had 1 goal and 1 assist. JT Wirtz had 2 assists. The Rams played well both offensively and defensively in the season opener against the Bearcats, the 2-Time defending State Champs in 1A. Kyle Wilken made 6 saves.

NORTH HENDERSON-Austin Stamey scored 2 quick goals to get the Rams started and Trey Hemphill had a hat-trick at the start of the 2nd half to finish off the Knights. Stamey had 2 goal and 1 assist. Hemphill had 3 goals, one coming directly off the 2nd half kickoff. Diego Souza had 3 assists. Hugo Lopez had 1 goal and 1 assist. Jon Stillman and Anthony O'Brien added goals. Ben Chapal Jackson Fischer, and Kyle Wilken had assist. Kyle also collected the shutout on 2 saves. Ole Berg, playing in his 1st game for TCR had 7 saves. Everyone played and did well. 

OWEN- Trey Hemphill scored 5 goals. Hugo Lopez scored 2 goals and had 1 assist. Alex Lewis scored his first career goal. Austin Stamey had 3 assists, Jonathan Stillman had 2 assists. Cam Wood and Ben Chapal added assists. Kyle Wilken made 4 saves and Ole Berg made 2 saves. TCR rolled from beginning to end, as everyone got playing time.

TUSCOLA- TCR got mutiple goals from 3 of the forwards to cruise to a big win against always tough Tuscola. Austin Stamey had 3 goals. Trey Hemphill had 2 goals and 2 assists. Hugo Lopez scored 2 goals. Diego Souza and Jonathan Stillman had 2 assist and JT Wirtz had 1 assist. Kyle Wilken and Ole Berg each made 2 saves a piece with Kyle recording the shutout..

WEST HENDERSON- Austin Stamey scored 3 goals to lead the Rams to victory. Trey Hemphill had 2 goals and 2 assists. JT Wirtz and Diego Souza added assists. Kyle Wilken recored the shutout on 9 saves. Ole Berg made 2 saves. The entire team played great. 

ARDREY KELL- The Rams fell behind 0-1 in the 1st Minute of play, but battled back to defeat state ranked Ardrey Kell behind 1 goal and 2 assists from Austin Stamey. JT Wirtz and Trey Hemphill added goals and Nick DeMarco had 1 assist. The defense bent, but never broke as Kyle Wilken made 8 saves.A total team effort gave TCR the win. 

MCDOWELL- TCR won 4-0 to open up the MAC conference schedule. Austin Stamey scored 2 goals. Trey Hemphill and Jonathan Stillman scored as well. Hugo Lopez and Diego Souza added assists. Kyle Wilken recorded the shutout with 9 saves.

RONALD REAGAN- Trey Hemphill, Austin Stamey, and Jonathan Stillman all had 1 goal and 1 assist. Hugo Lopez and David Stanley also scored goals. Cam Wood added an assist. Kyle Wilken recorded the shutout on 11 saves.

NORTH BUNCOMBE- The Blackhawks held the RAMS quiet in the 1st half, the score was 0-0. The second half saw TCR come alive with Harrison Johnston first goal off an assist by Jonathan Stillman. Austin Stamey had 1 goal and 2 assists. Trey Hemphill and Jonah Hodes also scored. Kyle Wilkens made 3 saves. 

ERWIN- Austin Stamey, Diego Souza, and Hugo Lopez scored goals. Harrison Johnston and Jonathan Stillman added assists. Kyle Wilken recorded the shutout on 5 saves. Many different players had to step up with several starters on the sidelines and they did great.

ASHEVILLE- Austin Stamey had 1 goal and 1 assist. Trey Hemphill scored 1 goal. TCR pulled out a very hard fought win. The defense was outstanding in the second half, when the Cougars attacked in waves. Kyle Wilken made 8 saves.

AC REYNOLDS- TCR pulled out a second hard fought win this week. Austin Stamey and Grant Hiriak scored goals. Trey Hemphill and Jonathan Stillman added assists. Kyle Wilken was outstanding in goal making 8 saves.

ENKA- Trey Hemphill had 2 goals and 2 assists. Austin Stamey and Grant Hiriak also scored goals. Jonathan Stilman and Jackson Fischer added assists. Kyle Wilken recorded the shutout on 3 saves. Ole Berg made 1 save.

MCDOWELL- TCR survived a very agressive and determined McDowell team. Austin Stamey and Trey Hemphill scored goals and John Stillman dished out both assists, as the Rams won 2-1. Kyle Wilken made 5 saves.

SHELBY- TCR held on to beat Shelby 2-1. Shayfer Early scored on an assist from Nick DeMarco. Austin Stamey scored on an assist from Trey Hemphill. Kyle Wilken made 8 saves. Late in the game, Ole Berg was in goal and saved a penalty kick to preserve the win.

NORTH BUNCOMBE- The defense held firm as TCR won 1-0. Jonathan Stilman scored the only goal on an assist by Austin Stamey. Ole Berg recorded the shutout on 5 saves.

HICKORY- TCR suffered their first loss of the season to Hickory 1-2, but it wasn't from lack of outstanding play by everyone who donned a Ram's jersey. Ole Berg made 11 saves. Proud of all the players, who all showed guts and determination.

ERWIN- Trey Hemphill scored 2 goals. Austin Stamey and Diego Souza each had 1 goal and 1 assist. Hugo Lopez added a goal. JT Wirtz and Shayfer Early had assists. Kyle Wilken recorded the shutout on 6 saves. Ole Berg made 2 saves.

ASHEVILLE- The Rams suffered their first conference loss to the Cougars 0-1. The team played hard and created some chances, but could not find the back of the net. Kyle Wilken made 5 saves.

AC REYNOLDS- TCR started the game well, Trey Hemphill scored on an assist from Nick DeMarco, 2 of the 8 Seniors playing in their Final home game. JT Wirtz, Shayfer Early, David Stanley, Jackson Fischer, Kyle Wilken, and Harrison Johnston were the other Seniors honored before the game with their parents. Also Ole Berg, an exchange student from Norway. The game did not go as planned. Afyer the early lead, the Rams gave up 2 goals from long throw-ins and were unable to find the net for the 2-1 loss. Kyle Wilken made 6 saves. The team will need to rebound with 1 regular season game left and then the playoffs.

ENKA- TCR showed heart and determination in a 3-0 win over Enka. Hugo Lopez scored 2 goals and Trey Hemphill scored 1 goal. Alex Lewis, Jackson Fischer, and Harrison Johnston added assists. Kyle Wilken recorded the shutout 5 saves and Ole Berg made 1 save.

VANCE- Total team effort led the Rams to a first round playoff victory. Trey Hemphill had 1 goal and 2 assists. Austin Stamey had 1 goal and 1 assist. JT Wirtz and Jonah Hodes added goals and Diego Souza had 1 assist. Kyle Wilken made 8 saves and defense played great containing some very skillful forwards.

WEST MECK- Jackson Fischer picked a great time to score his first career goal. It ended up being the game winner as the Rams beat West Meck 4-0. Trey Hemphill, Grant Hiriak, and Anthony O'Brien also scored goals. Austin Stamey, Jonathan Stillman, Ben Chapal, and Harrison Johnston added assists. Kyle Wilken recorded his 10th shutout on 4 saves.

ARDREY KELL- TCR fell behind early 0-1, but battled back to take the lead 2-1, on goals by Trey Hemphill and Austin Stamey, with an assist by Diego Souza. AK tied it at 2-2. After 2 10 min overtimes and 2 sudden death 5 min periods, the teams went to pk's. Kyle Wilken made 16 saves to keep the Rams in the game, but in the pk session it was the Ole Berg show. Ole saved 3 pks and Trey Hemphill, Austin Stamey, and Jonah Hodes converted theirs to give TCR the win. The team showed guts and determination to advance to the final 8.

LAKE NORMAN- TCR was able to fend off numerous attacks and prevail 2-0 against a very good Lake Norman team. Trey Hemphill and Jonathan Stillman scored  on 2 assist by Austin Stamey. Kyle Wilken was outstanding in goal making 9 saves for the shutout. The Rams played with heart, skill, and determination.

MYERS PARK- TCR gave everything they had in the state semi-finals, but the Mustangs were too strong. Kyle Wilken was excellent in the goal making 11 saves.
