Thurston County Fastpitch Association: TCFA Youth Summer Season Divisions
Children are 6, 7 and 8 years old. Children play a coach pitch format game or if they are more comfortable hitting from a "t" they have that option.
10U Division
Girls 9 and 10 years old begin to play the real game of fastpitch. Because the pitchers are just beginning, we offer a unique format that allows no walks. If a player does not strike out and receives 4 balls, the coach comes out and pitches a maximum of 5 pitches to the player.
12U Divison
11 and 12 year old girls are now playing fastpitch softball. They can slide, bunt and are fully responsible for pitching.
14U Division
Girls 13 and 14 years old compete in this division. This age group offers many opportunities for tournament play as well as league play. Many girls play at this age group to perfect their skills and ready themselves for playing on their high school teams.
