Equipment Returns

Division Directors and Coaches

As the season is coming to a close make sure all equipment is collected at the last game of the season and returned to the divisions directors or Equipment Manager. This includes all jersey's, pucks, pylons and goaltenders gear.

If your team does not have the list of equipment that was signed out at the begining of the year contact Ron Ongaro for a copy of your list.

All jersey's must be washed and returned in the provided container.

COMPLAINT PROCEDURE

During the course of the hockey season there are going to beissues with teams, coaches, parents, and players.  The proper way to deal with issues that might arise is asfollows:

·    Firstspeak to the head coach of the team in a private setting or at a team meeting (makingsure not to let emotions override the situation)

·     If unsatisfied with the results of step one,meet with the team manager and again state your concerns;

·     If unsatisfied with the results of step one andtwo, provide a letter to the Board of Directors (names and emails can be foundon the website) stating your case to deal with at the next Board meeting.  Let the one of the Board members knowthat the letter has been submitted and you would like it discussed at the nextboard meeting;

·     You may be requested to attend the BoardMeeting, or the following Board Meeting. The Division Director will let you know if you may be required toattend.

·     ONLY written complaints will be addressed.  Verbal complaints will not be entertained,nor are people to call Board members at home to voice concerns.

 The Board of Directors would like to stress that all peopleassociated with the Thunder Bay Women’s Hockey Association are volunteers.  Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Trainers,Managers, Board Members, etc give of their time to help girl’s hockey happen inour area.  Please remember thiswhen dealing with others.  Our goalis to encourage that all players as a whole develop their skills in hockey andsee this club grow to support more teams and players each year.
