Congratulations to Nick Honeycutt
in setting a new school record in the 100 meter dash set by Jake Peters in 2004. Nick finshed with a time of 11.17sec. the old record was 11.60sec. Come out and support TAD Baseball, Boys Soccer, Softball, and Track. Follow the basketball teams as they compete at Smokey Mountain Sports Complex each weekend.
The TA Dugger Cyclones Boys won First Place in the eight team Smokey Mountain Rim Rocker Tournament held in Elizabethton the weekend of Feb 20 by defeating some of the best teams in NC, VA and TN.
The TA Dugger Cyclones Boys won Second place in the 2009 Conference Tournament
after losing to Science Hill by 11 in the final.
Named to the Conference All Tournament team were
Nikolia Simpson
and
Kaleb Walters
The TAD Girls came in Third and earned a spot in the Area Tournament.
Named to the Confrrence All Tournament team was
Alicia Colbaugh
In the Area Tournament The TAD Boys defeated the number one team from the Middle 8 Conference, Sullivan North, by a score of 57 to 24.
TAD Boys won the first game in the sectional Tournament against New Center School by a score of 50-33 Saturday at Pigon Forge Middle School, After placing second in the Area Tournament.
TA Dugger Boys lost a close game to Robertsville in the second round of the sectional to end an outstanding basketball season.
Congradulations on being the first TA Dugger Boys Basketball Team ever to make it to the Tennessee State Sectional Tournament.
The TAD Girls came in 3rd place in the Area Tournament in Kingsport by defeating Blountville but lost a hard faught gane in the first round of the Sectional Tournament Saturday against Sevierville Middle at Pigon Forge Middle School Saturday.
Way to go girls and congradulations on being the first team from TA Dugger in ten years to go to the Sectional Tournament
