Sunday, August 23 Shock pummel Bulldogs The Syracuse Shock pummeled the Cortland Bulldogs at Tully HS in Tully, NY Saturday night 41-0. The game was called in the 3rd quarter after a power outage at the high school. Leading the offense was Joe Roy Baker running 121 on 13 carries and 3 TDs. Tyler Gage scored another touchdown for the Shock on a 11 yard pass from Bryan Simer. Terrence Collins and Dwayne Gordon each scored on interceptions of 38 and 9 yards respectively. Scoring was finished off by 3 PATs by Eric Wojtaszek and a 2 point pass from Simer to Depaul Crowell. Defense was led with 5 total tackles each by John Pajack who had 3 Solos and 2 Assisted Tackles and Charmain Smith who had 2 Solos and 3 Assisted Tackles. Brian Rendino and Scott Irons shared a sack and another sack was added by Terrance Morgan.
The Syracuse Shock return to Sunnycrest Park for their last home game of the regular season this Saturday. Kick off is scheduled for 630 pm against the Monroe County Sting.
Sunday, August 16 Shock defeat the Revolution The Shock were able to over come a slow start and defeat the Watertown Revolution 34-16. Next up are the Cortland Bulldogs. The game will be played at Tully High School this Saturday night. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 PM Monday, August 31 Pass the Cash Winners! Tuesday, August 11 Shock take on the Revolution this Saturday The Shock will travel to Watertown this Saturday to take on the Revolution. Tuesday, July 28 Shock defeat Lyndonville...Next up Albany. The Syracuse Shock (4-1) defeated the previously undefeated Lyndonville Tigers (5-1) this past Saturday at Sunnycrest Field by a score of 27-0. Joe Roy Baker scored 2 touchdowns, along with Justyn Hardwick and Leroy Collins each adding 1 touchdown for the win. The Shock hit the road for 3 weeks with our first stop in Albany (4-1) this Saturday. Kickoff is at 730 at Bleeker Stadium. Wednesday, July 22 Shock return to their winning ways. The Syracuse Shock are back to their winning ways at home. The Shock defeated the Buffalo Gladitors(3-2) by the score of 57-6. With this win the Shock are 3-1 on the season. Top stat leaders will be updated soon. The Shock stay at home for their next game and welcome the Lyndonville Tigers to Sunnycrest Park. Kickoff is at 630 pm on Saturday August 1st. Sunday, July 12 Shock Get Stung By The Sting The Syracuse Shock fell to 2-1 this past weekend after losing to the Monroe County Sting by a score of 28-6. The Shocks only touchdown was a 19 yard pass from Bryan Simer to Tyler Gage. The defense was led by Ralph Kinsey who had 13 tackles. Charmain Smith had 3 sacks for -15 yards. This weekend the Shock are on a bye week due to the departure of the Glove Cities Colonials. The Shock return home on Saturday July 25th to play the Buffalo Gladiators. Tuesday, July 28 Shock Pound the Bulldogs 75-0 The Shock pound the Cortland Bulldogs 75-0. Leroy Collins ran for 193 yards with 4 touchdowns and Justin Hartwick returned 2 punts for touchdowns. The league will take the week off for the 4th of July. Next up for the Shock will be the Monroe County Sting.
Sunday, June 21 Shock Defeat The Revolution 67-0 On a very wet Saturday night the Syracuse Shock ran over the Watertown Revolution 67-0 starting off the 2009 season on fire. Seven different Shock players contributed to 186 rushing yards, lead by Leroy Collins running for 56 yards. The defense was led by Jason Howard who had 4 Solo Tackles and 2 Assists. Mike Grenton started off the game by running back a kick off return for a 75 yard TD. The Shock will host the Cortland Bulldogs next. Thursday, June 18 Season Opener This Saturday The Syracuse Shock 2009 season starts this Saturday 6/20/09 at Sunnycrest Park when they will take on the Watertown Revolution. Kickoff is at 6:30 P.M. Shock Join Syracuse Chamber of Commerce The Shock are now members of the Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce. With over 2,200 other local businesses we are hoping to get the Syracuse Shock name out there, so the community will know who we are.
Wednesday, May 20 1st Annual Golf Tournament The Syracuse Shock will be hosting a Captain and Crew golf tournament on Sunday, May 31.
The following prizes will be awarded for the top teams (as long as there is 10 teams): 1st place team: $400 ~ 2nd place team: $200 ~ 3rd place team: $100 Plus Closest to the Pin and Longest Drive prizes. The tournament is open to all ages, skill levels and gender, so feel free to join us for a great day on the course. Please let anyone and everyone know about this tournament.

Directions from 81: Turn Right on S. Salina St. (you will be heading towards downtown). Turn Left on Kirk Ave. (Park will be on the left). If you get to South Ave you went to far. We practice on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 6:00 P.M. SHARP and Sundays at 2:00 P.M. SHARP. Be there early and ready to go. We only have 6 weeks until the season starts. The field is grass so bring your cleats and we are in helmets only. Veterans: If you don't show up by May 7th you won't be able to play. ___________________________________________________________ Monday, April 20 Tryouts a huge success! Monday, June 1 Fundraiser and Community Service for the Syracuse Shock Thank you to all the players and coaches that participated in the Syracuse Crunch game and sold pucks for our fundraiser. 4 hours of your community service obligation has been met. We raised $470 that will be split between the Crunch Foundation (contributes to local youth hockey organizations and various charities) and the Syracuse Shock. ________________________________________________________________ Thank you to all of the Syracuse Shock members that participated in the Big Brother Big Sister Bowl for Kids Sake on Sunday. It was a huge sucess for BBBS and everyone seemed to have a great time. Pictures will be uploaded from the event under Albums.
