Rules for Tournament

   8-Year Old Rules: 
               * NO dropped 3rd strike
               * Infield fly NOT in effect
               * Stealing when ball crosses the Plate             
               * Universal batting order
               * 4 Outfielders
               * NO stealing Home Plate
               * Bats 2 1/4 nothing bigger
               * 60' bases * 42' pitching distance
                   *Limit 5 runs per innings 1-5, 6th inning unlimited

    Rosters and Age Rules:
* All Teams must bring a copy of your roster and certificate of insurance to the tournament on the first day. Team rosters MUST have a minumum of 12 players and a maximum of 18.
* All Teams must bring a copy of each players Birth Certificate, and keep it with you, in the event of a challenge of a player(s) eligibility.
* All ages are as of May 1st.

General Rules
- Game time is forfeit time
- 1 game suspension for an ejection NON NEGOTIABLE
- home team in seeding rounds will be determined by coin toss
- In playoffs and consolations higher seed is home team
- NO infield practice before the game, teams can warmup in the outfields, not in the infields!
- GAMES MAY END IN A TIE 
- Please arrive at least an hour before your game, we will start games early to keep the tournament on time.
- Players can only be on 1 roster/age group

- Win/ loss
- Head to Head 
- Runs Against
-Run differential (max mercy rule)

Time limits and innings played:

- 8 Year Olds-12 Year Olds 2 hours and 6 innings
- 13-16 Year Olds 2 hours and 7 innings
* No new inning can start after 1 hr 45 minutes. Any inning started before the 1 hr 45 minutes must be completed. At the end of the last inning permissible by time the score will be recorded as is, even if it is a tie. A new inning starts at the moment the third out is recorded in the previous inning.

Mercy Rules

3 innings- 12 runs
4 innings- 10 runs
5 innings- 8 runs
* after 3 complete innings each team need not bat the mercy rule is drop dead*

***DURING SEEDING/POOL PLAY, THERE WILL BE NO SUSPENDED GAMES OR MINIMUM NUMBER OF INNINGS REQUIRED. ONE FULL INNING MAY CONSTITUTE A GAME. IF A GAME ENDS EARLY DUE TO DARKNESS, THE GAME WILL BE REVERTED BACK TO WHEN THE LAST FULL INNING WAS PLAYED. THE TEAM IN THE LEAD WILL BE DEEMED THE WINNER OF THAT GAME.***
