| Billy Carlyn, a fullback for the Big blue, played in 57, 58 passed away. He is a member of the Swampscott Football Hall of Fame. He always spoke fondly of his days playing high school football. As his son I always enjoyed listening to them |

Great re-cap of the 1962 team. It was the beginning of my park rat days and I have great memories of that time. Also have to mention that I can still taste the apples that your dad would so graciously have for the team after each game. |
