USA Softball
Tairia Mims Flowers was a starting 1st base as UCLA. Coach Trinidad of the SunFire was Tairia's first softball coach at Tucson El Rio Bobby Sox League, where she played with Coach Trinidad's eldest daughter Renata. Tairia still stays in touch with Coach Trinidad as recently this year when they met at the USA vs Arizona softball exhibition game in Tucson.

Coach Trinidad previously coached at Tucson High on the varsity and/or Junior Varsity squad. His main responsibilities are working with the pitchers and outfielders. Coach Trinidad logged 14 years at T.H.S, where he had the opportunity to twice play for the state championship. Coach Trinidad is also an alumni for the class of '75.

Tairia Mims Flowers a former player of Coach Trinidad a former Bruin player and now an Olympian on Team USA softball.
Baylor Bears
Former Flowing Wells coach Marc Lumley is an assistant at Baylor. Coach Trinidad of the SunFire coached at Flowing Wells in 1997 and assisted the Lady Cabs to the State Championship game vs. Scottsdale Chaparral.
Angelo State University
Coach Trinidad has had former & current players of his that attended Angelo State University. Celina Castillo, Kathy Moreno and Cara Redmond.
Bowling Green University
Coach Trinidad had the opportunity of coaching Kandice Machain at Tucson El Rio Bobby Sox Allstar team and Flowing Wells High school in 1997.
University of South Carolina
Amber Curtis was coached by Coach Trinidad when he was coaching in the Bandit organization. AC played from 1995 to 1998 for Coach Trinidad. She began with the 16 & under Bandit team as a 14 year old. AC is aspiring to get her degree in Criminal Law.
