Presidents Message
I'd like to thank all of our players, coaches, parents and friends that have made the 2008-2009 season such a big success. To date we have had our U-16 Boys compete in the 2008 State Cup final and our current U-12 Boys to win the St. Patrick's Day Cup, defeating the East Tennessee 96 Falcons 4-3 in a thrilling Cup final at Polo Field in Columbia. These players now have an idea of what it takes to compete and win at the state level.
Our move to Patriot Park this spring marks another milestone in our club's history. This facility is one of the best in the state and has received many complements from our visiting opponents. We will schedule all club home games at Patriot Park this fall.
We have submitted our bid to host the 2010 Kohls American Cup and the Publix Palmetto Classic Cup. These are Spring 2010 State Cup Tournaments for U10 - U12 Recreational and Classic players. The SCYSA Director of Cups and Games has visited Patriot Park and we expect to receive the result of our bid in the near future.
We have begun to lay the ground work to host our own tournament at Patriot Park in February 2010. We will provide more information as this project gets underway. If you are interested in helping, please contact me.
