Welcome to the Strathmore Community Football Association
The Strathmore Community Football Association (SCFA) operates three football programs in the Strathmore, Alberta area. All football teams use the team title SPARTANS. The SCFA has been in operation since 1998, when the Senior (High School) team was started; in 2000 the Bantam Program was initiated, and the Pee Wee program started up in 2009. The Bantam Spartans Football Program participates in the Central Football League of the Alberta Minor Football system. The Bantam team is a community based Program, open to everyone. Eligibility: Bantam Football is defined as football where players are 13 to 15 years old as of December 31st of the calendar year of which they play, and first year Grade 9. The Pee Wee Spartans Football Program participates in the Central Pee Wee Football League of the Alberta Minor Football system. The Pee Wee team is also community based Program, open to everyone. Eligibility: Pee Wee Football is defined as football where players are a 10 to 12 years old as of December 31st of the calendar year of which they play. http://sites.google.com/site/cpwfl2009/Home
Head coaches & contact numbers for each of the teams are as follows: The SCFA is directed by an Executive Board. The Executive Board consists of 11 members: 3 Executive Officers, 3 Directors, Senior (HS) Head Coach, Bantam Head Coach, Pee Wee Head Coach, Head Trainer, and Head Referee.
